Night manager actually got me a cheaper rate by having me book through a 3rd party. Room was immaculate. 100% would stay again.

Only 1 out of 3 rooms smelled like smoke. No issues other than the one-room smell. It was conveniently located near MCRD, not far at all. There are plenty of stores around to pick up anything you need. The rooms themselves were your general rooms, neat and clean. Several of the other reviews stated that the doors were stuck, but it was only because they were heavy, which I didn't have any issues with, and I am petite. Great for the price! They also accommodated a late checkout for my Marine to shower and change without a fee.

My kids loved the pool. It was very clean and I liked the guest washer and dryers on the property. All around it was very quiet and other guest were respectful of their neighbors.

It’s okay for one night stay. Very close to Sea world though. Rooms are quite old building and as soon as we entered lights went off but thanks to staff they arranged other room quickly.

excellent choice for any San Diego touring

Nice location with a waffle station. Only major complaint was the breakfast could have used some protein options, but still really good and well stocked. The location was perfect, close to the Marine Bootcamp depot and near the airport. Also close to all touristy events, though not as "walkable" as advertised. It is 35 35-minute walk to the base main entrance.
