Not a Boutique Hotel.

Pet friendly. Should not be charging a resort fee. Thin, thin, thin walls and loud guests. Friendly front staff. No daily housekeeping, coffee machine or hair dryer. No bugs but interior falling apart - sheets and towels were clean though. Disappointed by how much I paid.

There were a lot of negative reviews that made me concerned about my booking but I got there and was pleasantly surprised to find how clean and comfortable the room was. Definitely a hidden gem.

Cozy Stay

We had quiet /cozy stay. I love they had alot of channels I watch. A quick check-in and out* the gentleman in lobby was nice. I always go to Iris when I'm in SD.

Quiet stay

Check-in was quick and I had a 2 night stay. Bed was comfy with big screen tv and watched tubi. Not all rooms have that option but it was coo for me* it was a quiet stay overall.

The Trap Hotel

Cheapest hotel in the area for a reason. Seems like a lot of the rooms are occupied as housing for drug addicts. First night i was accosted by a woman who was clearly strung out on something. My next door neighbor had random people stopping by the room all day and all night; lots of arguing about "collecting stuff" from them. And to top it all off my room reeked of chlorine that became apparent was used to try and hide the HEAVY smell of cigarette smoke. Burn holes on the curtains as well. If youre on a steep budget, then i guess this is your best best. Free parking which is nice. Other than that I think I'll just save some more money for a better place next time.

This hotel is very outdated, needs some major upgrades, the room was clean for the most part, staff was nice when checking in. But did not feel safe as there was odd looking people around the hotel just hanging around, someone was also playing music in one of the rooms next to us all night, people talking right outside our room at night. We almost left to go stay somewhere else where we’d feel safer. Overall, please pay a little bit more and stay somewhere else!

Carpet was very stained. Sheets had holes. Beds 3 of 10. Water pressure was little to none.Guy at counter was the only positive. Very friendly and efficient.
