"Check in was simple via a key press. The owner spoke a little English which helped. Had to purchase magic sponges to clean the pool to prevent yellow line build up! Local shop within walking distance had everyday things handy. Bit too far to walk to the beach through the woods which meant cycling or the car. Overall very nice place."

"Fred and Corrine we’re wonderful hosts. They welcomed us with a fabulous bottle of wine and were on hand to assist us with arranging restaurants and recommendations for places to visit. The house has everything you need for self catering, including a BBQ."

"My wife, two kids and myself had a great week in the Medoc region. Thierry and Sylvia were excellent hosts, showing us around the property and giving us tips on where to visit in the region. They were patient with our questions (and our pigeon French!) and always had a friendly smile and advice for us. The accommodation is superb (superb clean, spacious, and as advertised). The pool was amazing - perfectly heated, always spotlessly clean and such a peaceful spot in a very rural location - but...

"Nous avons passés un excellent weekend chez Jérémy! Cadre chaleureux, convivial, très propre et décoré avec soins, la maison est récente et très bien équipée. Réveil avec vue sur la forêt au matin un bonheur!! L'espace "guinguette" et BBQ couverts est vraiment top pour profiter entre amis a n'importe quelle saison! Jouets a dispo pour les enfants, propriétaire vraiment sympa, nous reviendrons!"

"Lovely property situated in a quiet rural location. Twenty mins drive to Talmont and Meschers, 30 mins to Royan. Thaims is a farming community so expect to hear tractors working the fields. Supermarket ten mins away in Cozes. Patrice the patron is lovely, speaks very good English and is always available on the phone if needed. Well recommended 👍"

"Wir haben unseren Urlaub in dem ruhigen und schön eingerichteten Haus mit dem großen Garten im Medoc sehr genossen. Es war alles da, was wir brauchten und die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett und entgegenkommend. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gibt es in der Nähe und auch die Strände sind mit dem Auto unkompliziert zu erreichen. Wir können uns sehr gut vorstellen wiederzukommen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt 😊."

"Close enough to drive to beaches, far away enough for a quiet peaceful stay. Very well equipped, all modern appliances in excellent working order."

"The Villa is beautiful and in a perfect location. The Villa however does require updating and some maintenance work. We did not realise the Villa does not supply any bedding or towels, so this had to be flown in and others by car which was frustrating. It would be nice if the Villa can recommend local shops, eateries and places of interest as nothing is supplied or recommended. WiFi took a few days to be sorted and both patio and pool furniture is in need a of change. Overall, lovely Villa."

"We stayed for a night. The exterior looks a bit rundown but the apartments are great. Everything works, it’s well equipped and clean. There’s also an elevator which is a major plus. Daily continental breakfast for 11 euros - honestly it’s too expensive for what they serve. You have to bring down your trash upon check out and clean the kitchen if you used it. Overall a nice stay."
