"Amazing Victorian building situated in a great location only a 15 min walk into Keswick.Onsite free parking so no need to move your vehicle for the duration of your stay if you are there for the walks. Public transport passes also if needed. The rooms are clean, Bedroom has Tea/Coffee/ Biscuits. Bathroom we stayed in had bath, shower and products to use. Such lovely touches in this property, cosy lounge area’s to sit in with games, chess etc. One lounge area had an expresso machine , Water and fresh pieces of cake for anyone to help themselves too. Great breakfast for you to choose. The most friendly staff we have come across a perfect family business We have stayed in many places in the Lake District but this was by far the best.They deserve there five star reviews, We will return.."

"Lovely clean room & the staff were all very helpful and friendly. The only thing to note was I had to ask for towels, because none were left out, but other than that we had a very lovely stay here and would definitely come back. Breakfast was fantastic, can't say anything negative about this place, it was a great over night stay. Thanks very much!"

"Ruby's Cottage is absolutely lovely and in the most wonderful location. Cosy, welcoming, comfortable & well equipped. I opened the front door and the heating had been set perfectly and lights were on. The welcome pack for my dog was a very nice touch. Views of Blencathra out the back and Clough Head from the bench at the front. Who needs TV! Great walks from the door. Blencathra was amazing and 4 miles into Keswick on a well kept track along the river. Would not hesitate to recommend and plan to return."

"Great little space for a stay near beautiful keswick, cottage was located a 10-15 minute drive from the town centre & gorgous walks local throughout. Clean, tidy cottage with a great shower. Only slight issue was the kitchen was very compact so would benefit from a wooden top that could be placed over the sink to give more work top space. Some clear instructions for the oven would be great too as it was difficult to use, had to google how to use and even then couldnt get it working 100%. Overall a lovely great stay & we would stay here again x"
