Hotel Pacific Roma
staff is really kind and nice. when I was departing early in the morning prior to the breakfast regular time, two people from staff offered me a breakfast bag to eat on my way to the airport. nice people.

Mama Shelter Roma
Clean room, friendly staff, close to various public transport. Family friendly (but also a few too many children running around screaming on occasion!). Pool/sauna/steam room was a nice place to go (but again, see screaming children). Good breakfast & the restaurant was reasonably priced.
