The gentleman at the front desk is amazing, we adored him. We had a last minute situation with the transportation strike and this place delivered. The area isn't bad but the because it is near the trains terminal and street markets happen there, the streets have more potholes than the average in Rome (which of course is not the fault of the property).

The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The area were convenient. The mattress was in very poor condition, we were not able to sleep at all! The changed the sheets and towels daily but the floor and the rest remind filthy. I would never come back.

James the B&B host is a warm, friendly, jovial person. Very nice guy. He offered us a triple room and a double room when our quadruple room is not available due to the authorities asking him to remove a bed from the quadruple room. His newly renovated shower room comprises rainforest shower! We went to Gelateria La Romana for the best and authentic gelato as recommended James on 2 nights. We also went to Ciro Pupetta, the delicious Maple restaurant as also recommended by James.

Don’t recommend this place because is not the same as the pictures, also the furnitures are out of date, the shower water pressure is weak and the hot water comes and goes, most of the time is just cold water. The area are full of drunks, is very close to the train terminal but otherwise this place is very old and not what the pictures expected.

The cleaning in the shower was very bad. The beds were in a very poor state- they were uncomfortable and not very hygienic. Even the walls were sticky.

No power for more than 12hrs.

First night at the hotel and we stayed without power for more than 12hrs and with no contact with the responsible of the hotel. We lost all morning in the next day waiting for solution - and we didn’t have. I had to implore for information - and I never received. When we got in the hotel again, it happened again / no power - no assistance - and the neighbor helped us to get power back again.
