Fun in Rome

Very friendly staff. Comfortable room. Easily fits 3 and could fit 5 with the pull out couch. Walking distance to the main areas but this is a solid local spot with some unique finds. Fun to walk around the streets, lots of great restaurants, etc.

Property was quaint, staff was friendly. Room was fairly warm even with AC running. Room in okay condition, not great. Walking distance to some things, but have to take some form of transit to others. Found that the tram did not consistently run on schedule which was unfortunate.

Convenient and nice stay

Great little spot within walking distance of many attractions (15 mins to the Pantheon, 30 to the Colosseum, and 40 to the Vatican), and there is also a taxi stand very close by. Tons of amazing restaurants in the neighborhood. The hotel itself is cute and the manager is very nice. They cleaned the room every day which was a good bonus.

Sonnino Suites is a very small and homey hotel. Great prices! There is no lobby and only a receptionist during specific hours. The beds were very comfortable! Rooms were decently sized, bathroom was gorgeous but had a weird shower situation with no door for privacy. Overall 9/10

I loved this hotel. The hostess was very helpful and there when we needed her. Really beautiful room, secure and clean. Comfortable and big. The shower is very small though- be prepared. The area is great. Just one minute away are outdoor shops, restaurants, and mini market. Easy walk to the bus.

Great location for walking to major tourist sites but noisy street. I asked about parking our rental car before the vacation and they didn't make it clear that we wouldn't have a parking space. They did help arrange a spot in a garage that was about a ten minute walk. Overall, lovely staff and nice room. People larger than 6'4"tall or obese will have trouble fitting in the shower

We stayed two nights as a couple, I am very familiar with Rome, because I lived there for a while. Positive: - it's in a really good position to walk to all the tourist spots for day tours and then be in the middle of Trastevere for the evening out - Personal was super friendly - room was clean -we had a room on the backside of the house, so it was quiet Negative: -our sink did not work, water did not flow off which I found distgusting -Black lime/fungus in the shower, when u are used to low budget hotels in Italy, you know it's a common problem... -as it was really hot outside the airconditioning did not handle it well, so it was really warm -space in the bathroom is very limited, so for people who are bigger this would be very uncomfortable

En trevligt litet hotell fyra våningar upp i ett hyreshus. Man får köpa egen frukost. Ej reception 24/7. I övrigt är rummen rena, snygga och städas varje dag. Ligger bra centralt precis söder om Tibern och nära till i princip allt!

Close to the river and many attractions, this is the absolute most perfect place to stay in Rome! Just a block from two different taxi stands, it is located in an extremely walkable area, less than a 25 minute stroll down the street from the Pantheon. There are several fabulous restaurants just around the corner as well as a exceptional bakery and pizza shop which is the perfect spot for a snack or to pick up breakfast for the next day. Lots of space in the rooms and very quite. The antique chairs, dresser and secretary are among best furniture of any hotel I've stayed! The only caution is that there are steps into the bathroom, up to the toilet, and into the shower, so visitors with mobility issues need to be careful.
