What a fabulous place to stay. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was incredibly nice. The Residenza is centrally located in the Trastevere neighborhood within walking distances to attractions and great restaurants. Would definitely recommend and will stay here next time we visit Rome

We stayed in the studio apartment offered by RSC. The location was quiet, very walkable with dining close by. The studio is located in the Jewish quarter, not in Trastevere, like the hotel itself. The staff was so lovely to work with and made our stay wonderful. Nice intro to Rome.

My second time staying at Residenza San Calisto in Trastevere and personally I found this as one of the best places located very strategically in Rome, close to all major historical sites by walking distances and not too far from other places that require transportation, night life is unique, nice people’s from all over the globe enjoying beautiful restaurants and local bar, great vibe. Hotel room was very clean, modern and spacious, tall ceilings, huge closets, large bathroom with all the standard amenities, extra room for your luggage and great staff service always ready to serve you.

Residenza San Calisto was a wonderful place for us to stay. It was quiet and comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. The location was convenient, with vibrant dining and nightlife just steps away (although our room was so quiet, we didn't hear anything at all once we went to bed). We walked from the Residenza to a amazing Trastavere neighborhood each night for an authentic local experience.

Great family stay in Rome

Very nice stay in studio apartment of the hotel in quiet part of citta storico, close to everything! The old historical building of residential flats was quiet and relaxing, the apartment clean and spacious for our family of four.

Wonderful accommodations, a quiet oasis in the heart of the action in Trastavere. Comfortable, clean and tidy, with a small number of rooms, the stay felt like having my own place in the city. I would recommend and return on a future trip.

Loved the hotel. Very clean, very friendly, great location. When we stay again (and we will), I'll request a room towards the back of the property, only because patrons of the restaurants around the corner (it's reallly a great location) park their motorcycles nearby and leave around 2 am so it's a bit noisy. But it wouldn't stop me from staying here next time.

I didnt get to stay at this hotel that I booked over a year in advance. They canceled me due to" overbooking" and moved me to a 1 star hot. They assured me it was the same clas but it absolutely was a downgradw. Shame on them.

Missed email

I had thought this lovely inn was more of a regular hotel with staff available most of the day and a breakfast available. I don't know if things changed after covid. We had given our arrival time which was right at the 2 PM check-in, but when we arrived it was locked up with just a note on the door with a phone number to call. We had been having difficulty with our phones on the trip and could not get through. I finally called Hotels.com 800 number and while they were trying to get in touch with the hotel, someone who occasionally worked there happened by. He told us there should have been an email that went out giving us a code for the outside gate and door, then telling us where we would find an envelope which would have inside it our room number and code for that door. No one was at the hotel until early the next morning for a few hours, the only time period anyone was ever there. The property is very charming with a great location. I went back through all my emails, and I did find it, so it had been sent. However, it was a very stressful 25- 30 minutes and at my age I think I need to start checking more carefully about availability of staff, at least check-in.
