This room was really nice and quiet. What you see in the pictures is what you get. Very close to the Colosseum and walking distance from Roma Termini. Friendly staff. The only thing I would suggest is to fix the sink in the bathroom.

Great Stay at Nicolas Inn

We had an excellent stay. The staff were very friendly and helped educate us about things to see in the city. The hotel itself was very cleanly and comfortable to stay in. Would definitely stay again.

Great simple hotel

+Big spacious clean room +Great location next to the colosseum +Nice check in staff +Daily cleaning/fresh towels +Good price for location -broken shower head -very thin curtains let in lots of light -if you’re unlucky to get street side room then it can be noisy at weekends -close to colosseum but a long walk to other attractions

Property management was very helpful and friendly. The location was in the heart of the city and comfortable walking distance to many of the city’s magical sights. Air conditioning was very welcome. Would definitely book here again.

Had no issues checking in or out. I had an early 4AM departure so was able to pay any city taxes/fees in advance. Was able to communicate to the owner as when to expect my arrival, and was there on hand to let me in. Great location close to the Forums and only about a 20min walk from the main train station. Not bad on arrival as it's mostly down hill.

Overall ok, just okay. Loose tiles on the floor of the room, mould all around the sealant in the bathroom, sometimes the toilet cistern kept filling and wouldn't stop. Multiple flushes would resolve this eventually. No duvet on bed even in February, had to use blankets in wardrobe....sceptical on there cleanliness. Gentleman there was pleasant. Wouldn't stay again

Highly convenient to walk to many of the attractions. Within blocks of Colosseum and Forum. Walkable to Trevi and Spanish Steps. Lots of restaurants and cafes. Property is small and could probably use a bit of spiffing up. It was comfortable though. Our primary complaint would have been that the shower could use a good bleaching and the toilet made a racket when flushed.

In the house and surround it was very loud. The furniture is old. A shelf in the bathroom was dirty when I arrived and remained so. The most positive aspect was that it was very central, near some of the most important spots like Forum Romanum, Colosseo...

Great location close to colosseum and roman forum. Very kind and helpful host. A lot of storage space in room. The only downside was the bed covers/ decorative pillows were quite old and worn out. At least the linens were clean. Also potentially noisy from other rooms, but this was only a problem one evening when a neighbor was using the fan quite late, so we just asked her to use it the next day and after that we had no noise issues. Overall great stay, would come back!
