Rome in December

Margutta Suites 54 is a good choice in Rome, not cheap but less than the hotel. The suite was big enough for 3 adults, clean, bathroom was very good. No window, which is not good. The place is very safe and quiet. Very well located, even for breakfast near by. Near restaurants and shopping. Recommend it

Looked nice online and was fabulous in person! 3 ladies traveling and it was so lovely and extremely spacious and very fresh and updated. . Bathroom was huge with two sinks. We were downstairs and people above were up at 3 am walking around and it was noticeable. Would try for upstairs next time because of this but would not keep me from returning.

Don’t make reservation at this property. They overbook their reservations they put me in other hotel dirty, small room, like a 2 stars with a round bed! Yes Round bed . The staff at the hotel are a liars and the receptionists play like dumb without answers and zero solutions , I never was able to speak with the manager. Please save yourself a headache . This hotel is a fraud!!!!!!

Fantastic location, however, the staff needs training and, some, much to our regret, lack professionalism being almost rude. First of all Margutta 54 is not Margutta 19 and it is treated like a poor cousin which is a mistake! There is no prior notice that the check in will take place at Margutta 19; staff doesn't give any introduction how to open/close the gate after hours (no reception or concierge on place). I will not into a very disappointing arrival and bordering on a rude treatment by one of the young ladies at Margutta 19, however, there is plenty to be improved.

Underbart att bo ett stenskast från Spanska trappan men ändå ha det helt tyst och lugnt! Vi gick en gata in från stöket och hamnade på en "vår" gata - det var som att komma in i en annan värld! Hotellet låg på en fin innergård. Stort rum, härligt badrum, sköna lakan. Vänlig och hjälpsam personal i huvudbyggnaden. Hade jag rest ensam hade jag valt huvudhotellet som låg 200 m bort på samma lugna gata. Det hade varit läskigt att gå in på gården ensam om man som jag är lite mörkrädd. Men i sällskap - perfekt!

First, one needs to understand that this is an apartment that sits 1.5 blocks away from the hotel. Not too serious. The space is big and nicely appointed but it does feel a bit like a garage. There is a window door in front but no other windows in the apartment. This made it feel a bit like a cave. Add to this that the space was on the street level and so the curtains are needed to block the window. Most serious, the apartment was dank, humid. My wife smelled moldiness and one day we got caught in rain and our stuff took 2 days to dry out. The floor always felt kind of wet.The space desperately needs a dehumidifier. All in all, this was not worth the 500 euros we spent per night. Not even close! Disappointed.

L'emplacement est idéal et la rue est belle. C'est un petit appartement (pas de réception car lié à Margutta 19) et nous avons eu l'impression d'être un peu seuls. Situé dans une cour intérieure, c'était joli. Les deux seuls points négatifs étaient que le canapé-lit était dur et -comme il n'y a pas de fenêtre à ouvrir- la ventilation était bruyante.
