Our time at Magnifico Rome was fantastic! The triple room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The service was top-notch, with a special shoutout to Shafiq for his helpfulness. The hotel's proximity to the metro station and Trevi Fountain made exploring Rome a breeze. Plus, the convenience of luggage storage on our last day was a lifesaver. Definitely worth every penny! Can't wait to return.

Well located comfy pension

Well located pension style hotel. Very close to metro stop and main train station, and many of the major sites to see in Roma! Small rooms, but comfortable and clean. Note no full-time check-in staff (although staff are very friendly and helpful), so if arriving late have to co-ordinate. Note also there is only coffee in common area - no food / breakfast / snacks as pictures on site suggest. Raised with owners who are working to correct info on various booking sites. Plenty of places to get food in the area though.

Great old Italian style guest house near main st.

Nice guest house close to Roma Termini station. Quarry room spacious and got 2 big double bed great for 4 people and with kids. Washroom is in the middle. Easy after hours check in. Secured with coded entrances at main door and iron gate and to the apartment and to your room! Old Italian apartment style building if you want to experience the old style instead of regular hotel experience. Front desk guy was great and we stored our baggage after check out to catch a later train from termini.

Location is very close to the centre , walking distance to major attractions , manager practically never there , only expresso machine, no jug even in the foyer, forget about room. The rooms need to be upgraded, very small out of date as well as bathroom facility. In the bathroom and as well as in the room not enough surface area to put your personal belongings.

Safe and quiet place. Close to Termini station and restaurants. Not much space for your clothes and there are no luggage rack, no iron/board to borrow. The room are clean and tidy except the drawers has hairs which I cleaned and I think the fridge has a black mold. Air conditioning is not that good enough to cool us other than that all is well.

I booked a one-night stay primarily because the hotel is very close to the train station. The accommodations are simple but certainly adequate and the price is good. The only caveat is that this (like a number of hotels these days) consists of a number of rooms in a large building whose facilities serve other interests. This creates some logistical challenges when you arrive, especially in the evening. The person on staff, Chaffee, was extremely helpful. It seems the trade-off is that the management can charge a bit less because they are not maintaining an entire building. That said, the room was very clean and the location very central.

If you have not stayed in these types of properties in Italy, you need to know what you are getting. It is not staffed during the bull of the time. You use codes to get in, and it is hard to find and dark and very creepy in the entrance and way to the room. Once you get to the room, it is lovely. I travel alone. As a woman. Do not do these types of hotels alone. Not safe. Stay at a staffed hotel.

24 hour onsite staff not available

Only one person does registration and housekeeping. No 24x7, so if you are planning to leave bags, you are taking a big risk as the keypad codes through the several gets to get to the property don't always work. And if you have a foreign SIM card, you may not be able to reach anyone for help. Overall quality of the rooms not commensurate with the room rate. I stayed at a nearby hotel on subsequent dates that were cheaper with 24x7 staff and much better room quality.
