Rooms were clean, staff were pleasant. Nicely located hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area slightly but still easily connected by the metro down the road. Good restaurants nearby.
Good place nearby to the terminal train station.
The elevator is small and old fashioned with manually opening doors., so keep that in mind.
It's up on the 5th floor.
Lovely service by the staff.
Area is quiet, not far from the Termini. We also felt safe as there are embassy offices in the area and we’d see at least 2 security men around the corner. The room is clean, check in was smooth.
Close to Termini, included breakfast was tasty coffee and a pastry. Elevator worked well but is pretty claustrophobic. Bed could have been more comfortable.
My room was spotlessly clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A great location meant I chose to walk to many of the sights rather than take public transport or taxis, but also close to termini station which was helpful.
Only slight downside was that my room was right by reception and sound travelled easy.

Disliked: Amenities
Good size room for 3 people. Does have an elevator. The hotel was on 5th floor. Beds were hard to sleep on. 10-15 min walk to Termini train station.
This hotel is nice only for a night or two, which is exactly what we needed, as well as being very close to the Termini station since we had an early flight to take. The room was quite comfortable, but the bathroom had a sewer-like smell to it. If we kept the door closed and the toilet lid closed, the smell wasn’t as strong. Otherwise everything else was great and for the cost, really worth it!
Very nice property in the center of Rome. Connectivity is very good to all touristic places with public transport and walking. Also quiet and pieceful away from the crowds and rush.
The hotel was in a great area, close to Roma Termini Station and walking distance to most attractions in Rome. The Staff were easy to talk to and friendly.
The only thing that I think could really improve was the Wi-Fi.
hotel is on 5th floor, elevator is many decades old and small but gets the job done, room was adequate, queen sized bed, narrow bathroom with all tile walls and floor, shower only, bidet, air conditioning, smaller flat screen tv, and fridge, Pam mini grocery store is a block away, as is pharmacy, walking distance to shops, resturants, Termini train station
negatives, front desk understood some english but didnt speak it, paid for breakfast which is at a local cafe close by, he didnt know where it was located and I never found it in a weeks time,
We really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet, clean, and central, and an excellent base for a holiday in Rome. The area is pleasant, with several 5* hotels and some embassies round the corner. The breakfast is supplied in a nearby cafe, and is just a coffee and croissant. There are several restaurants nearby. We especially appreciated the fridge and kettle.
The property was super clean. The staff went over and above to help me navigate the Italian telephone network to report stolen credit cards to North America.
Wonderful, friendly, helpful staff.
WasThe room was fine although it had a tiny bathroom and a tiny elevator going to the 5th floor room well that's to be expected for a building this old.
Small and little hotel perfect for resting and recharge… very quiet and clean… close enough to all Rome tourists attractions without the noose and people. We’re coming back for sure.
Hotel Katty was fantastic. We stayed for 4 nights and from the minute we checked-in until the second we checked-out the hosts were marvellous, warm-blooded and kind individuals. If we come back to Rome, we will definitely be staying here again.
The surrounding area has great cafes, our favourite being Le Levain, a nice pizza and kebab shop called Cairo Kebab and it is an easy walk (10 mins) to the main station (Termini), you can easily walk to Trevi Fountain and then Pantheon within a 30 minute time frame.
There are many local supermarkets too, Pam local being our go-to.
I had a lovely time at Rome, I cannot wait to visit again.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service
Staff was very friendly, however we had to ask for more soap, towels, toilet paper, the remote for the air conditioning.
Very close to Termini station, Conad, and many restaurants. Very old elevator and property. Not necessarily a bad thing… just beware of this before you book!
I especially loved the coffee counter…and the sweet old man running it. The Italian grandpa you wish you had .
I do wish the bidet were not so close to shower. Hard to take a shower with the door opening in instead of out :(
The room was large, bright and clean, and our window opened to the courtyard side of the building.
The only downside was that the beds were way to hard, and caused us aching backs. How to flush the toilet also caused a bit of confusion before we figured it out.
