We stayed at Hotel Genova 23 years ago when visiting Rome. It is very convenient to the Rome Termini, nearby restaurants, shopping, and taxi services. The hotel is well maintained and provides a breakfast each morning.

The hotel was conveniently located to the train station and hop on/hop off buses. The staff was attentive and spoke English. I also appreciated being able to check my bags for several hours after checking out. I was not impressed with the Greenlight Tours that was suggested at the desk (not enough buses - the wait was too long and sometimes had to wait for the next bus because of overcrowding). Next time I'll use the Grayline system, they appeared to be more plentiful and less crowded.

Rooms have been renovated,close to train station 5 minutes walk....lobby bar hasn't been renovated yet and still has 25 year old torn and ripped black leather couch and worn walls. That needs to go and takes away from the rest. Great area for a night or 2.

Hotel Genova was easy to get to from Termini station. Front desk staff were great, easy check in. Room was very nice and updated, and clean. Thank you!

WiFi is TERRIBLE. In the lobby we could barely use it. In our rooms it did not work at all. We stayed 4 days and this became a problem. The staff didn’t seem to care or understand. The location is convenient right next to the train station. The room was clean. But would not book here again because of internet issues.

I really like this hotel. The staff are friendly. There’s a lift, which is rare in Rome. Near station and short walk to all locations. Breakfast is fantastic.

They didn’t upgrade our room . I had to upgrade and pay for . They gave to us very small room . This wasn’t first time here . We stayed at this hotel Genova since 2015 and we love because every very close . I expect they update my room for better than they have to us , but instead they offered to us upgrade to nice suite , and of course we had to pay for . But we love the place , the staff are amazing , specially Vinicius . They apologized for the room and sent to us a bottle wine . Was nice . Our room have outdoor terrace . Great to relax and have glass Prosecco . Thank you .

Centrally located near Termini and walking distance to all major attractions. Lovely rooms and service is both helpful but cheerful. Will stay here again. Breakfast was best I’ve had in Rome.

Very nice hotel with a friendly staff. In the city center with lots of excellent restaurants within easy walking distance. About two blocks from the train/bus main terminal. The staff guided us through every detail of our stay including recommending places to eat, booking tours, arranging transportation to the airport, and answering questions. There was also a nice breakfast buffet each morning.

Front desk mgr Anthony and reception staff wr fabulous. The bar mgr was a bit rude on 2 different occassions. Huge offerings for breakfast, but i didnt care for most of what i tried, but truly a lot to chose from. Over all excellent, just the bar personel issue.

Thr property was walking distance to Colluseum. Bed comfortable, ample closet space. Shower pressure and temperature was inconsistent.

Location was central and staff were extremely helpful in securing free street parking for our 2 day stay. Air conditioning was fine. Shower water temperature control needs to be fixed as it quickly alternates between temperate to scalding. Breakfast was nice with varied menu. Big hotel with lots of guests. Rooms were spacious and beds comfortable. would stay again.

This hotel is off the beaten path, very charming place. They helped us airport transfers back and forth. Kept our luggage as we went wandering the town of Rome. Best advice don’t go during the hottest month in July. The hotel does need some updating and repairs. But it’s CLEAN! So the only 2 things I noticed that needed repair is the ceiling and the bathroom shower. Very helpful at the front desk. I would come back our room was 603 and it is Amazing.
