Clean room, extremely helpful and courteous staff, and location in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of most major sights. We would stay there again.
Very good location, not too far from restaurants and fun, yet on a quiet block. Old, elegant well appointed property, with all that is good and little of what is bad about that. Breakfast was good too.
This hotel is a gem. Very intimate with the essentials covered. Comfortable & quiet rooms. Fabulous bathroom with a tub! Delicious breakfast! Only limited in amenities.
The breakfast was fresh with lots of pastries. Linen was freshly changed daily and clean. Comfortable beds to sleep on.(Not like a lot of places I’ve stayed) They are close to Vatican City so we could walk there. They helped out with tickets for tours if needed. Front desk was great.
Always a stellar stay here. Elegant Prati neighborhood. Kindest staff. Charming rooms. Grazie mille for everything! We look forward to yet more returns!
Old fashioned hotel located in a former palace close to the Vatican. The hotel is in a nice quiet area, but very close to the sights of central Rome and to shopping and restaurants. The staff was helpful and friendly.
Great area, amazing staff especially Giorgio, Leonardo & Daniel. Loved the room I was in as well. The only thing I'll add, is that the canvas above the bed needs vacuuming. Other than that I loved that the european ambiance was kept, instead of making the building into a generic hotel.
The hotel staff were excellent - polite and helpful. The hotel was in a good location - walkable to Vatican, and if you enjoy walking, it's also walkable to the colosseum (about 3.5km). The bed was very comfortable. Neighbourhood had plenty of restaurants too. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.
It was a charming hotel and we were very please with our stay. The balcony was wonderful. The dog in the lobby was a plus and greeted us each time we left and returned to the hotel. The hotel breakfast was terrific and had everything you could want. The location was also great being close to the Vatican and other sites, but in a quiet neighborhood where you were joined by the locals
Leonardo was very accommodating. He explained the area upon arrival. Breakfast was good and the employee was really friendly. Really good location, quiet and cozy.
Classical clean and comfy. Close to metro and walkable to all attractions. The breakfast was nice and overlooks the parks and streets nearby. I really like the vibe and had a great time. The bathroom was spacious and lots of amenities. The staff are nice and swift in helping me check-in
We were greeted by a friendly and good dog upon our arrival. Room was beautiful and we enjoyed the balcony. I loved the great big bath towels! They were awesome! Would definitely stay there again given the opportunity to come back to Rome
Property was very very close to the Lepanto metro stop, which was very nice. Also, the staff members were very nice. The basement room with single twin bed was very small, but took care of my needs as a single traveler.
Friendly staff 24-hour available. Clean. Good selection of breakfast. Walking distance to metro station. Would be nicer if could add a few hooks or bar in the bathroom to hold towels for reuse.

Great location, classic feel
Hotel Farnese is in a very walkable area and close to a train station, which made it easy for us to explore. We were even able to run from the hotel to the Colosseum, Pantheon, and Trevi Fountain at night. The place isn’t modern, it’s more quaint and traditional. And smaller than I expected, but it was a decent stay overall. My favorite part was seeing the owner’s dog, Heidi, every morning. That little touch made it feel homey. Receptionists were friendly.
