Supper in the restaurant was good, and not expensive. Bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel is very conveniently sited for the Quintile Villa archaeological site and the via Appia Anticha.

Clean & friendly hotel. Property is in a quiet and good location out just out of the city. Close by to busses that take you into the city center in 30 mins. Small restaurants and grocery stores in the neighborhood.

Close enough to Ciampino airport for a one night stay before travelling on The poor star review though was for the repeated, intermittent buzzing noise coming from the room. It was loud and disturbing. There was an electricity breaker box in the room so probably came from that Disturbed nights sleep Breakfast choices were ok however hadn’t been replenished and wasn’t for the whole time we were there so wasn’t the best. No juices either Beds were comfortable however and service was good A decent hotel, let down by lacking breakfast and incredibly disturbed sleep

Booked a triple room for 3 nights. The extra cot came with no duvet. No room service and no kettle or water bottles provided. One of the staff advised the water from toilet tap is drinkable. Had to pay for bottles on first night, refilled from tap from day 2. Got charged €67 for city tax. Positives: nice and helpful staff Buffet breakfast and good dinner service availabl4 at extra cost. Receptionist offered to store luggage after check out. Daily housekeeping.

Technically the property is one or two bus rides from the major sights, but it is a 45 minute bus ride and has no direct connection to any airport aside from a cab. It is situated in a small town with a handful of decent dining options including a Cuban restaurant that is practically across the street. The food at the Cuban restaurant is excellent as is the decor. It felt like it is run by two people, the server/bartender/host and a chef. Being half Cuban, the food was good. The breakfast at the hotel was a slightly dressed up continental with decent options but the juice and coffee dispensers make it a decent meal. Our room required a key to unlock the air conditioning and entryway lights. You cannot have one without the other unless the front desk unlocks these features for you. Calling the front desk to turn on the lights after a long day of running around is tiring. I’m not sure if the person working the bar was the bartender or the head of food and beverage because they were working the breakfast service as if they were manager. Good service, but the drinks were off.

Don’t let the bad reviews scare you off. Lobby, bar and rooms are all clean. Pool area is cleaned regularly and the water is pristine. Beds are hard, pillows are thin. I slept fine though! Staff are friendly and helpful. Safes in the room, empty minibar and air conditioning works. Would definitely stay again.

The outside looks great, staff is nice, but we had housekeeping walk in on us twice (no knock, knock and unlock immediately) that caused a bit of embarrassment. Also the outside and lobby looks great but the room had issues for repair such as wallpaper splitting and water damage in the bathroom.

The hotel is in a run down area, far out from the city center. Staff are polite but lack enthusiasm. The breakfast is cold and basic. What's supposed to be hot food is lukewarm, pots kept warm by a glow candle underneath. Dinner service is OK,the staff lack enthusiasm here as well,managed by some little man manager called Evil. He walks around with alcohol in hand, in a poor quality 'suit' with no regard to the team or guests. He is what lets the place down. If anyone ever needs to have dinner, I recommend the corner shop up the road,the hotel will provide hot water for your pot noodle. Alot better than the cold pasta and chunky chips they serve. House keeping is the one area that is excellent. The house keeping staff and manager are polite and thorough. The place is cheap for a reason. Evil the manager needs to remember he is there to serve customers not drown in free alcohol.
