We had such a nice stay! The staff is very helpful and extremely polite. Communicated with us from check in to check out. Would
Highly recommend. Thanks Elysium Colosseo!
This property is absolutely beautiful, we had a small balcony and had an unspoiled view of the colosseum. The bed was large and very comfortable and the bathroom had very good facilities. Will definitely be returning and recommending to all friends and family for trips to Rome.

Liked: Cleanliness
Hotel is centrally located in easy to access downtown area and historic sites. Had the room by the front door and could continuously hear people in and out. Also, the room had an air conditioner that continually made noise even when off. Otherwise room was clean, but just a small room with minimal accommodations.
The manager was delightful and did a beautiful job with cleaning, fresh towels etc. the instructions for entry into the building were accurate. The location was perfect- few minutes walk to the Colosseum and right next to a nice park.
The property was very clean however we booked thinking we had a view of the colosseum because it is not clear and didn’t really give us any other options and we actually ended up in what we called a cupboard due to NO window AT ALL!!!
It was our first time in Rome and booked thinking we would have a lovely view in our room so that was a huge let down. It did ruin it for us and people should be aware of exactly what they are booking
This hotel is a very short walk to the Colosseum. A beautiful walk and then we didn’t hop on n off bus to get around and learn about the city.
The room was decorated really well and the rooms were very clean. The shower size would be difficult for a large person. I’m 5’8” and I had no problems.
We would stay there again and plan to.
The person we met there, Loyda geeeted us and is super nice and informative on the best place to eat in the area etc. The bed was super comfy as well. Looking forward to visit Rome again soon.
Room was exactly as described. Felt like you could touch the colosseum. Room was small, but enough space for two bags and two people. Bed was comfortable to sleep in and clean. Bathroom is tight, but useable. AC was able to cool the room well.
Instructions to get in were unclear at first. Had to search a while to find the info to get in the building. Once in there was no problems. On our way out the door to the suite had been broken in, felt un-easy but not the fault of the host at all.
Walked to the Train station and it took about 20 minutes with luggage.
Stayed here on our last night in Italy. Was the perfect end to our trip
“The worst hotel experience in Rome”
This has undoubtedly been the worst hotel I have ever stayed at in my life.
• There is no reception, nobody to receive you, and the place is poorly marked, making it very difficult to find.
• The entire place smells strongly of cigarette smoke, the elevator is out of service, and the rooms are located on the fifth floor, which makes the stay extremely uncomfortable.
• The most alarming issue was the staff: a person (of Asian origin) who only appeared for the “checkout” arrived earlier than agreed, with an arrogant and rude attitude. He started taking photos of me without my consent, even of my passport, and threatened to call the “bad police” if I didn’t leave immediately.
This behavior is unacceptable and raises serious safety concerns.
I strongly advise against staying here under any circumstances.
