Nice hotel, good location. Rooms are connected via bathrooms and our neighbors were smoking inside (we think). There was a big stench of cigarette smoke. Not so nice. Luckily only during the last day of three.
Very clear instructions on how to get in. Felt incredibly comfortable and safe in the property and some great food options just across the street which made it!
Beautiful room in a perfect location.
Everything is in vicinity, be it grocery store “tigre” or famous places like Trevi fountain and Spanish Steps.
The staff is extremely helpful, we forgot the keys in the bathroom and they immediately helped us in solving the issue.
It’s on first floor, but the number of stairs are very less. We had a perfect time in Rome !!
The location is top notch! The property is lovely, friendly staff and comfortably rooms. A really good base to explore Rome from especially if you want to see the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain early in the morning. We loved it!
Stayed in the green room with my daughters while in town to see the sights. Really appreciated how close to were to so many attractions, and only 25 minute walk to most others! Room was clean and well kept. Had alot of charm and a great window in the room.
Everything was excellent the only thing are the bathrooms that are external but we did know that in advanced, otherwise beautiful place and the staff are very kind
Great location and walkable to dining, shopping and all the popular attractions. About two blocks from the Spanish Steps and quarter mile from Trevi fountain. The room was clean and quaint. I definitely recommend this property
We had a lovely stay. None of the major tourist attractions were more than a 40 minute walk away. And with the heat wave, the rain shower felt SO GOOD after a long day of walking.
It was the perfect rustic hotel room. Pretty spacious room for Europe. Bathroom down the hall was a little inconvenient but wasn’t a big deal overall. The room stayed nice and cool. Tapestry’s were beautiful and made you feel like a guest in a wealthy Italians house. Location was great.
The.hotel is in a great location! very safe and secure. The owners are good at communication and friendly. The rooms are pretty and clean. They need to upgrade their keys to the room. They use skeleton keys and we struggled to get in and out, and they are loud. Our external private bathroom was not close, but down a hall. It was a great bathroom but we wanted the convenience of a bathroom near us.
This property is perfectly fine and I'd stay again if I had to. It is cute and the location can't be beat. Unfortunately, it doesn't offer the value that can be found at other locations. How do I know? We stayed at TWO places in Rome, not just one. While this location was adequate, the other offered far more for the same price. The other had a fantastic view overlooking Largo di Torre Argentina, a lift for luggage, a front desk with multi-lingual staff, a HUGE room, a great breakfast buffet, a public space with a greenhouse to lounge in, and free extra towels. It also allowed us to have food in the room (Casa Heberart prohibits it). The worst part of this experience was the huge billboard flashing into the room from across the street. Of course, the management can do nothing about the billboard, but they COULD put up black-out curtains. Other guests have commented on the problem, so management clearly knows about it. But nothing has been done. (The billboard stops flashing from midnight to 7:00, but if you want to sleep at any other time, you have to put up with it.) Again, this place was adequate, but the price was as high as we paid at a much better place.
We booked Casa Heberart at the very last minute , as we had an overnight layover in Rome before heading back home, trying to take advantage of seeing some Roman history. The place is so wonderfully located, and in minutes we had seen the Trevi fountain, the Spanish steps and the Pantheon. The Colosseum is very walkable, and along the way is great shopping and gelato, and we dined right across the street...40 feet from the door, and that was fabulous. All our texts were responded to very quickly , and the owner even organized a taxi ride to FMO in the am.
It's hard to find reasonably priced accommodation in Rome within walking distance of the sights . Casa Heberart was exactly what we were looking for . Highly recommended !!
Cute Hotel.
We had the „Chinese Room“ which gives very little space for suitcases. Was kind of a climb through the room. Other rooms which we have seen in the same accommodation are bigger. So better ask before booking.
Cleanliness can be improved. Shower gel, soap in tiny plastic bags means a lot of plastic trash.
Very noisy surrounding. Very central close to the Spanish Steps.
We stayed in the ”Chinese room” which was VERY small, basically only room for a bed to squeeze around. This wouldn’t have been a big deal as we only used the room to sleep but the mattress was also very uncomfortable, squeaky, and stiff. AND the window overlooked a massive close billboard which changed and flashed directly into our room - so bright it flashed through the blinds. The billboard was the only view. Combining this with the separate bathroom all the way down the hall - it was very expensive for what we got. Yes, location was central but busy and touristic so ultimately not worth the price with the rest of cons.

Besides the following, it was fine.
I left for a while, I had a do not disturb sign on my door, when I return, the cleaning lady was in my room, moved my personal belongs from the bed, I started packing and had my carryon on the bed and my clothes with other items.

The stay was ok. Be aware the communication with the manager will be via whatsapp requesting a photo of your passport. It seems like they are not aware or care about the privacy or security of sending private documents via whatsapp. Further, the walls are paper thin, we had noisy young people next door that were drinking and talking till late at night. Overall the place is a bit dated but ok to rest up.

Close to centre but service from staff wasn’t great. I only saw a cleaner with little English, could not communicate with her. And was only able to communicate with one lady via text at her convenience
