This was a lovely hotel with a delightful employee named Rosanna who made us feel incredibly welcome and helped us get laundry done. The neighborhood and location are great, and visiting Rome while staying at this hotel was a highlight of our trip to Italy.

Great stay, but be aware of the "free parking" We stayed at this B&B, which is very well located in the historic center — perfect for exploring on foot. The room was comfortable, clean, and quiet, and breakfast was delicious with fresh local products. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside is the "free parking" claim. You can’t actually drive into the historic center unless you're a resident, so there’s a risk of fines. Free parking is available, but it’s street parking about 4 blocks away — not on-site as the listing might suggest. Other than that, it was a great experience and we’d definitely stay again.

October 1-3 The daytime front desk concierge (so sorry I forgot her name) was absolutely the friendliest and most helpful. Thank you This very quaint hotel was just right for our stay in Rome.

Stayed for 3 nights… I would say the only good things of this hotel are its location, and the staff, other than that the place is pretty run-down. - - Bathroom sliding door could not be locked - Safe box was a joke, is a very tiny metallic box where I could barely fit my passports travel bag and my wallet, and on our last day I realized that it was not even mounted to the wall !!! so anyone can just easily walk out with the whole thing. - The worst: air conditioning did not work for 2 of the 3 nights in the middle of the summer !! The second night we had the issue, the staff offered another room but it was a very tiny room for only for two people, and I traveled with a family of four, so two of us stayed in the room with no air conditioning with just a portable fan also offered by the hotel staff. Bottom line, I would rate our stay with only one star if it was not for the location and the staff.

Fantastic choice. Definitely recommended.

This hotel was the perfect choice! We are a family of 4 and visited Rome to see as many points of interest as possible. The location of the hotel was excellent. All monuments were a maximum of 15 minutes walk, except Vatican city which we took a taxi for €14 (we used the "free now" app) and another €15 for our return. Taxis at the Vatican city asked for €28 for our return and we said no. The hotel room was very clean and had two separate areas for sleep, something very convinient, given my daughters are teenagers and needed their privacy. Around the hotel there are a lot of restaurants either for a cheap quick bite or to sit at a table and get served. On the "down side", breakfast was nothing special, just standard items everyday served at the table and the wi-fi was very unstable. But it is a three star hotel so it is forgiven. If we visit Rome again, this hotel will be our first choice.

We loved the room we were moved into. However, the first room did not meet the expectations mentioned in the room description on Expedia. Make sure to call and verify the exact room you'll be booked into. We booked a standard deluxe room with a terrace and separate bedroom, for 4 people. However, the intifada room we were placed into had no terrace and the sofa bed was hardly for 2 people. It rocked back and forth. I complained and showed the photos of the room I booked. We were moved, thankfully, into the one room with a terrace and separate bedroom. I recommend reaching out before arriving. The room differences were night and day. There is only 1 room with a terrace and separate bedroom. For a family with kids that uses the hotel room a lot, this was a drastic difference for our stay.

From start to finish this hotel tried their best to ruin our time in every possible way. As soon as we walked in we saw the confusion on their face when they realized they booked us the wrong room. They took us up the elevator and showed us a twin bed instead of the queen and twin bed that we paid for. After we complained we went down to the lobby as they prepared a side room, literally a room that can only be accessed from the side of the building with a door that’s nearly impossible to open and with no elevator as they forced us up two flights of stairs to a room that wasn’t even ready yet when they told us to go. They didn’t even offer to take anything up either, so we had to take 4 bags of heavy luggage up steep, narrow steps up to a room with no view at all and with no discount of refund mentioned. The worst part was the service, however, as mentioned before the door was nearly impossible to get into and so if we ever had to leave we had to go back to reception to get back in and they were rude and unhelpful every time we asked. They didn’t care about fixing their mistake nor were they in any way sorry they made it, they were just bothered that they had to do anything for their guests after that already took our money. On our last day when we asked them to call the shuttle to the hotel that they repeatedly told us they could do, however when the time actually came the shuttle never showed up and we had to race down the streets to find a taxi! We demand a refund.

The roof top balcony was a definite plus! The Minerva room had an authentic vintage Rome feel and was quite a big room. Staff was available 24/7 and quite friendly. The complimentary breakfast was good, croissants, coffee (cappuccino, cafe latte), broiled egg, juice, ham and cheese, yogurt, jams. The best restaurant for food and gelato was nearby - Ai Tre Scalini (best eggplant parm!!) /
