We stayed 4 nights at the Alea Home in Rome. The good things: great location, very clean, and easy check-in and check-out. Also the centre courtyard is beautiful! The not-so-good: the room was very small (while this is to be expected in Rome, the photos made it look much more spacious so we were surprised) and there were no hooks or toiletries, so we ended up kind of draping our wet towels wherever there was room. The street is also very loud at night - not the hosts' fault, but some earplugs or heavier curtains would help.

We had great communication with property host before and during our stay (through What’s App). Our room was clean (NO bed bugs), and equipped with basics. Only soap, no shampoo/conditioner so need to bring your own). Towels were exchanged half way thru our stay - I did ask for extra towel exchange and it was provided. Sheets are cotton (nice) but well worn (mine had a hole in it). Blankets are more of throw fuzzy/polyester. Air conditioner worked well (happy it was strong). Close to Vatican museum and Vatican activities - but 45 min walk to Trevi Fountain area. A few good Italian places to eat - and walkable to get coffee. There was a coffee and water boiler and mini fridge in room. We walked to local full service laundry close by. Overall a great stay!!!

The room was quiet and cozy. There was a beautiful courtyard outside the window with beautiful trees. The neighborhood was safe and close to a metro (4 minute walk) and bus stop (2 minute walk). The shower was small. The staff was very responsive - we would recommend Alea Home Roma to a friend.

Run-down place, will not come back

The bedroom we stayed in was really run-down and the bathroom was dirty. We were misled by the online pictures: the actual residence is pretty nice, but once you enter the building and pass the Alea door, the corridor looks like a sad office, and the bedroom that we were given was ugly. The only positive things were the price (relatively cheap for Rome?) and the location (near the Vatican, where we planned on visiting the museums), but the stay was really a bummer. Glad I only stayed 1 night. Will not come back!

Run-down place, will not come back

The bedroom we stayed in was really run-down and the bathroom was dirty. The only positive things were the price (130 euros... relatively cheap for Rome?) and the location (near the Vatican, where we planned on visiting the museums), but the stay was really a bummer. 美しいパティオのある宿での滞在

【防犯】アパートメントの中の数室を利用したホテルです。アパートメントの門、棟の入り口、フロア入り口、自室の扉と、部屋に至るまでに4つの鍵があり、それなりに防犯性の高い印象でした。立地も比較的治安が良い場所だと思います。フロントにスタッフが常駐しているわけではないので日本人女性一人だと少し不安に感じるかもしれません。 【アクセス】空港からはローマ市内行きのバスで向かい、バチカンエリアで下車して10分ほど歩いて着きました。バチカン以外の各観光地には少し離れていますが、地下鉄を使うと便利にアクセスできるようです(たまたま地下鉄が工事期間でアクセスに苦労しました)。 【設備】ホームページに掲載されている写真のようにめちゃくちゃ綺麗！というわけではないですが、洗面、ベッドとも比較的清潔感がありました。この価格帯では十分なクオリティだと思います。 この宿の魅力はなによりもパティオだと思います！騒がしいローマの街から帰ってきて、ほっとする空間でした。

4泊で利用しました。 少し早く着いたのですが、応じてくれて助かりました。 部屋は一階で陽の光が入らず薄暗かったが、少なからず窓があって新鮮な空気を入れることができた。 タオルは掛けておいたら変えてもらえなかったので、変えてほしい時は床に置いておくと良いです。 シャワーの水圧は当たってほしいところに当たらず少し苦戦しましたが問題なし。しかし扉を閉めても隙間からトイレの方にお湯が漏れてしまいました。バスマットを敷けばなんとか水浸しにはならず済みます。 エリアは安心でバチカンへのアクセスや駅までのアクセス、周辺には美味しいレストランやジェラート屋さんがありました。 そして私たちの帰りのフライトを調べると、ナイトバスの選択肢がありませんでした。オーナーに問い合わせるとタクシーを予約してくれると言いました。彼は私たちを助けようとして、私たちはとても安心しました。しかし翌朝タクシードライバーは現れず私たちは混乱しました。結局Uberを呼びました。それはとても残念な経験でしたが、少なからずオーナーは私たちを助けようとしました。 おせわになりました。

Perfect little hotel, 10/10 recommendation

Amazing location, very friendly and accommodating hosts who were constantly helpful with our queries and made the experience a breeze. Would love to stay there again if I go back. The only minor problem I would mention is that the showers aren't brilliant - there is no temperature between hot and cold and it doesn't hang properly. Otherwise a delightful stay.

Our stay was great. The location was perfect. Our hosts were so very helpful. Neighborhood was quiet but easy to get to the many magnificent sites in Rome. The room was clean and efficient, couldn't ask for more.

Excellent host in a very good location

Finding the apartment and the service on arrival was excellent, we were contacted prior to arrival and someone was there to meet us. Check in was very easy and we were given a map of the city and the highlights were explained to us. We would have appreciated a bin for the room, the only bin was in the in bathroom which was very small. We also struggled with some of the plug fittings (they weren't the standard Schuko fittings which are common in other parts of Europe), which meant some of our UK adaptors didn't fit.

Просто идеальное местечко! Не совсем в центре, но до Ватикана рукой подать. Очень комфортно! Удобно, что можно заехать поздно, т.к. ключ забираешь сам. Стильная комната, есть кофеварка, вай-фай, удобная кровать. Что ещё нужно? Внутренний дворик просто очаровательный!

Its very clean and comfortable room. The location is accessible from Cipro station abt 3mins walk. Owner was very available to contact anytimes with msger app. Even though I was late, he shared detailed introduction how to find the room and key. In addtion you can stroe ur bag anytime easily. I would like to stay when I came back to Rome. Thank you!

The best place to stay!

We have literally just checked out from the best place in the whole of Rome. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and bright. Bed was super comfy, shower was great and air con. Everything you need for a hotel room was there - fridge, kettle, tea, coffee & TV. The area that the hotel is in was fantastic - 5 minutes walk from Varican, where the locals live so it's cheap & lovely for food and drinks. Ask Gianmarco where he goes for coffee - this is possibly the best coffee we have ever tasted - have visited every morning of our stay. Gianmarco & his team are great - even before check in we had communication and it was a pleasure to meet him - he will make sure to look after you well. I will definitely be back!

Fabulous Room

Great location and fabulous host. Will definitely stay again. Closest metro stop was 2 minutes away and the perfect way to travel. Very comfy bed also!

Et dejligt sted med fantastisk service.

Min søster og jeg havde to gode overnatninger. Ejeren Gianmarco tilbød endda at hente os på togstationen, og han var klar med alt den hjælp vi havde brug for, for at få et par gode dage i Rom. Super værelse med adgang til både, kaffemaskine, elkedel og vand. Flot værelse tæt ved Vertikanet og kun få minutters gang til Metro. Jeg vil 100% anbefale dette sted til andre der skal overnatte i Rom.
