"We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Palladium Vallarta and would absolutely return. It was perfect for a family vacation. The beach and ocean swimming were excellent, and one of the highlights of our trip was seeing so many whales right from the resort. There was also a great variety of pools for the kids, which kept everyone happy. The staff were very friendly throughout our stay, and the food was amazing. We highly recommend upgrading to Family Selection — it was well worth it for our family. We ate most often at The Nest, which is available only to Family Selection guests, and it was a big part of what made our experience so enjoyable. Overall, this resort was a fantastic choice for a family getaway, and we would definitely recommend it to others."

"Just got home. This place exceeded all my expectations and has become my favorite Mexico resort. Food was incredible, place was super clean, staff was very friendly. 10/10 (Oceanfront room, bathroom had a septic smell on check in, but we ran the shower a few minutes and continued to in the mornings and never had another issue!) "Had to do a little walk to get to the ocean, walking across the street. No big deal if you don't mind walking, as the street has basically no traffic. Food was good, had a few issues with a couple of the servers, but no big deal. Rooms were big and cozy, property was in really good conditions, no issues whatsoever with room services. They have plenty of restaurants to pick from, but you have to remember to make reservations early in the morning because they fill up pretty quick and you have to do it on a daily basis. Otherwise, you'll be stuck with the buffets, which are not bad and they have two of them. Good variety of food. Two problems, though. They have plenty of pools, but they close them at 6 pm, which I never heard of. I didn't mind it that much because I love jumping in the ocean and I barely use the pool, but sometimes I like to go in the pool for a few minutes before getting ready for dinner. Other hotels usually stay opened until 8 or 9 pm. And my other main issue was that I made reservations through Expedia for 3 couples. And when I arrived to the hotel, they only found a reservation for one of the couples (not even mine) using the confirmation I received from Expedia. I was kind of mad because they say they had no way of knowing we were coming together and they oit us on separate areas. I don't see the point on making a reservation through Expedia if there's no communication among them. Bad experience that way and barely any help"

"The grounds were clean and spectacular, and the room was fantastic. We had a garden with a partial ocean view, which was very private. We loved the different pools, restaurants, great drinks, and excellent food. The staff were outstanding, the service was superb, (the bellman Arnulfo [blue eyes] was helpful and stepped up to help out with transportation). Housekeeping noticed that we were celebrating a birthday, and they had a pleasant surprise in the room, complete with balloons and a "Happy Birthday" sign. That made the day even more special; it was just beautiful! Can't wait to go back."
