My daughter and I were glad to be there in late April which is just off season cause it’s a big complex and would be way too crazy for my taste during season. Spent a lot of time at adult pool . Def go to Punta da Mita and Sayulita. Easy uber rides"

"The overall resort was absolutely beautiful from the botanical plants to the pools. The activities and reception staff were very kind and helpful. The beach was great and well maintained as well. The food was okay. My partner did end up with food poising and was very sick one of our days unfortunately. We also found that the room was not incredibly clean when we arrived. There were children’s stickers in the shower and the bathroom counter was quite dirty. "

"The staff was really wonderful, especially Justo at the Expedia desk. There was a mix-up with our booking and he was so kind and helpful and hospitable. Took the time to make things special for us which we all appreciated greatly. The beach and grounds are incredibly beautiful as well. "

It wa such a great experience, Daniela our host was always prompt in any inquiry we had, she had always great suggestions for restaurants, beaches, tours etc. the pool was very nice, we used it everyday and the beach was just min away. "From booking to check out our experience with Ancora Punta Mita was exceptional. The concierge staff checked in with us a week prior to arrival to see if we had any questions and to confirm our arrival time. Throughout our stay they assisted in making reservations for us, making recommendations on places to visit and arranged a driver to take us to the airport - Thank you Lety and Carlos for taking such goood care of us! The Ancora is wonderfully located on the water at the marina. From sunrise to sunset there is a lot of activity as fishing boats and tour excursions come and go. You can sit and watch front row from your balcony as the boats and the sea birds provide entertainment. Also located on the Main Street, Ancora is within easy walking to at least 20 fine restaurants, all on the beachfront. Our favourite was the Hoja Santa which sits on the rooftop of the Ancora beside the pool. The food and service was top of the line. Breakfast is served at Mr Cream on the lobby level again with the wonderful marina view. Our suite was very well equipped, very clean and very private. All in all, one of the most memorable vacation venues we have stayed at. Cannot say enough about the friendly and helpful staff at the Ancora. Highly recommended!"

"Beautiful, spacious unit across the street from a white sand beach. Property manager was very helpful and made the check-in and orientation easy. We appreciated beach chairs and umbrella! The upper common area was our faviourite for sunset viewing. "

"Overall, a beautiful unit and a great fit for our stay. The setup and decor made it feel like a true home.The location was ideal, easy access to the beach, town, and convenient for driving to excursions. Traveling with two teenagers who wanted to surf, it worked especially well. I could even watch them surf right from our patio, which was a great perk. Walkable to beachfront restaurants, with great views from the pool and patio. Kitchen was fully equipped, parking was easy, and the A/C units made it simple to control temperature. Beds were a bit firm but very comfortable.Eloisa, the property manager, was outstanding. Extremely responsive, helped with reservations, local recommendations, and had groceries stocked on arrival. When the coffee maker broke, it was replaced within 30 minutes.The reason for 4 stars is listing accuracy. It’s listed as 3 beds, but one is an air mattress. We invited a guest expecting a proper bed, which created an awkward situation on arrival. This should be clearer. The owner didn’t reach out directly until the last day.One note, the second bathroom does get hot water, it just takes about 6 minutes.Aside from the listing issue, this would have been 5 stars."
