"Our stay was excellent! We opted for a Family Select swim out room and it was totally worth the upgrades. Our son woke up every morning and swam first thing while we ordered room service for breakfast. The beach was not crowded at all and the staff was so accommodating and welcoming. The facility was super clean and I felt like a royalty! It was our beat vacation by far. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Catalonia Royal Tulum. The hotel itself was very clean, and one of our absolute favorite parts was the walk from the main area to the pool and beach—it’s a beautiful jungle path that really makes the experience feel unique and peaceful. Along the way, we saw lots of coatis, which were so fun and added to the whole nature vibe. The restaurants were very good overall, and we upgraded to the Privilege package, which was definitely worth it—especially for access to the Bloved restaurant, which we loved. The beach was absolutely beautiful. We spent so much time just sitting, relaxing, and enjoying the view. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight—very expansive with tons of options, so there was always something for everyone. The only downside for us was the amount of smoking throughout the resort. Unfortunately, we often couldn’t leave our balcony door open because of the cigarette smell, and it was noticeable in many areas. It’s a bit of a drawback, especially in such a stunning natural setting. Overall, a great stay with beautiful surroundings, good food, and a relaxing atmosphere—with just that one area for improvement."

"This is my third time at this resort and every time has been great. Honestly, the food is average but who goes to a sun destination for the food anyway. It's all about the sand, sun, and relaxation and this resort delivers. And it's close proximity to 2 major parks(Xplor and Xcaret) cut our travel time down huge so we could spend more of our vacation enjoying everything else! This resort is great for girlfriends, couples and families add there is something for everyone to enjoy. And it's jungle environment means you are immersed in nature and not packed on top of one another. "

"The rooms were clean. Some staff was friendly and others were rude. The resort has plenty of room and lots of things to do. A couple of things that need improvement were being able to make reservations at the restaurants. We could not get into one the whole time we were here. We ate at the buffet. And the pools need to be open later than 6 pm. I would definitely return as for the most part it was a great trip"
