"Our favorite hotel in Scottlsdale"

"Although this hotel is older, it is still very well-maintained and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Now for the best part......THE BREAKFAST. The buffet was great. It was more than the typical hotel lobby breakfast with powdered eggs and make-your-own waffles. Oh NO....my waffles were warm, fluffy, and made with love by the cooks. Made-to-order omelets were chef's kiss. Breakfast potatoes (my favorite) bacon, sausage, bagels, etc., all consumed by the golf course where the views were breathtaking. The only thing I would've done differently was add grits and biscuits to the buffet (I'm a true southern girl). I definitely recommend this property for the breakfast and views alone, lolol."

"I really enjoyed staying at this resort. It was peaceful and spacious. I stayed in a villa. I really liked how large the rooms were and the patio area was nice. I brought my dog so the patio was nice to take my dog outside. The rooms were very clean. Even with being pet friendly the rooms did not have any pet oder. The resort is older but is well maintained. The pool area was clean. I saw in reviews people said the walls were thin and they cough hear people next door. I was worried about that but I did not have any issues with hearing my neighbors. I would definitely recommend this resort and if I’m back in the area in the future I would stay here again."

"Sonesta Suites Scottsdale Gainey Ranch is a beautiful, clean, and well-kept property. Overall, we had a very nice stay. The only thing to note is that we visited during spring break, so the hotel was quite busy with many kids around. If you’re looking for a quieter, more relaxing stay, this may not be the best choice during that time of year. Other than that, it’s a lovely hotel."

"We enjoyed our stay, staff were very helpful. We loved the lazy river it was open till 7 even with it being a Sunday! The bar and food was a little over priced they should consider a small fee to BYOB but otherwise we loved it!"

"Nohemi made the check-in process seamless! The property was a great value for the cost, very well located, and exactly as represented online.We did not use the pool, but did take advantage of the hot tub, which was wonderful. A couple of us also played Pickleball, and enjoyed that amenity very much. The only major concerns of our group of ladies were the following:The icemaker does need to be repaired or replaced.The tablet that operates the hot tub is not user-friendly, and we needed to contact Nohemi to run it. The broken window in the front master bedroom needed to be replaced before a new group of guests arrived.The bath towels and beach towels were plentiful, but nearing the end of their appropriateness for the high-level Vrbo that is the Cholla House. While it was nice to have some bottled and canned beverages left in the refrigerators by previous guests, leaving perishable items in the refrigerators was not. With my background (B.S. in Food and Nutrition), I recommend that your cleaning team dispose of those perishable items.Those concerns are easily dealt with, and would make a small but noticeable difference.
