"The house was beautiful and clean. The kitchen, laundry and all bedrooms were well appointed. The fire was also a lovely touch for us. There were heaps of puzzles and boardgames which we all loved. They even had a bocce set out near the outdoor setting that was lots of fun with kids. The location was in a beautifully quiet cul-de-sac in North Bendigo. It was a quick drive into central Bendigo, about 10 mins so you will definitely need a car to get about for activities. "

"A traditional cottage in Quarry Hill, about 5-10 minutes by car from the centre of Bendigo. The cottage was very comfortable and in very good order with everything provided."

"This is a very tidy property with heaps of character located convenient to View St restaurants, the Gallery and Oval. Recently renovated with quality fittings it is not big with only one bathroom and separate toilet. The kitchen has all the essential including a dishwasher, and a good selection of teas, a Nespresso pod machine and a few condiments. Bedrooms are all roomy and comfortable, although the two in the front to get a little traffic noise from busy Barnard St."

"Styled very well, super well equipped with all we needed, quality bed linen. We stayed during July and it was very cold, the central heating system was struggling to keep up, it did not work effectively unless we kept it on 24/7, it did not seem able to reach the temperature we wanted so we needed to put it on a bit higher than we wanted to be comfortable. It may not have helped that there were louvre windows in the toilet, and it is an old house, so cold air was coming in a bit, perhaps that's...

"This house had a lot of charm, the rooms were really beautiful. Most rooms were very spacious, some even had sitting areas. The house was very well equipped for the number of people it accommodated, there was nothing missing. The host provided excellent communication. We really enjoyed our stay. The house is very well located, right near the main street. The gardens were beautiful and had many seating options."
