"Incredibly charming little cabin, don't let the size fool you as it's laid out well and thought went into every nooks and crannies. Charming material and the stone tiled shower and the outdoor tub are a treat. Maybe we were unlucky though as many light bulbs died. Kids loved the attic; even more so during some intense rain and hail, just wonderful."

"Great location and great set up for teens. The actual accommodation is just like the listing. The upstairs area was great for our teenage daughters and their friends and the spa was well used! The weather in Ohakune was not great meaning we could not ski. However girls had no problems occupying themselves. Would just recommend some more breakfast bowls - there were no enough of these and a new rubbish bin. The lid was broken which was not ideal. Other than this there were no issues. It was...

BUT it took over 30 minutes and several long distance phone calls to obtain the correct lockbox code to enter the property which was really frustrating after a long day's drive. Our only feedback was that The shower tap heat controller needs to be replaced, as it's difficult to turn (especially for kids) and only 1 toilet roll was supplied - more would be appreciated, thanks."

The lawns were cut but the garden is overgrown and there is no access to the front steps to get onto the deck because of overgrowth .Weeds are growing through the deck boards and thorny blackberry by the spa so could only lift half the spa cover . It is close enough to walk and bike into town .Overall we had a very pleasant stay ."

"We enjoyed our weekend at Piwari Villa. A very old villa which appeared clean and was really well equipped with everything we needed. Neighbouring properties are close by but we still enjoyed sitting on front deck in the sun and using the spa pool. The house had a shed for storing our bikes which was really handy and communication with owners was easy. Would love to know more about the history of the house."
