"This was a great hotel. The room was nice and clean. We had plenty of clean towels and the in room coffee was very good. The bathroom had nice soap, lotion and amenities. The only negative things were the windows that were difficult to open and the cushions on the chair that were very old. I wished we had more time as it was in a great location."

"If you ever find yourself needing a nice but budget friendly place to stay in San Simeon (or near Cambria) stay at the Comfort Inn in San Simeon. The front desk person was so nice. The view and room was perfect. The bed was so comfy. Continental breakfast was great. And the gym was 5 stars. Wish I brought my tennis shoes so we could have worked out. Next time."

"Stunning location with beautiful ocean views. The rooms at Sands are quite basic compared to the adjacent Cavalier. The prices (fair) reflect that. As far as I could tell they're one and the same property. Kind of like Toyota is to Lexus! You get full access to all the magnificent amenities whichever one you stay at. Pools, hot tub, restaurant are all excellent. The fire pits situated right on the bluffs are a perfect way to end one's night. We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Sands and look forward to returning."
