"Chose this hotel because I was looking for a quieter location away from the city centre. The easy access to Metro and trams made it very accessible for getting around. The hotel is very modern and nicely designed, the rooms were very comfortable, and the amenities were good. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Amsterdam."

"This place did not meet my expectations. The hotel is in a remote area and required the use of multiple trains to get there. I did not feel safe being so remote at all. Even the area around the property was desolate. Especially the train station. I ended up not leaving my hotel which made for a terrible trip. There is absolutely nothing to do in the hotel or around the hotel. They also nickeled and dimed me. I needed a rollaway bed and was charged an additional fee for a bed that was available and not being used at the time. The rooms were entirely too small and the onsite bar and restaurant left little to be desired. I would not recommend. "

"Pretty clean hotel and bathroom. I liked the modern look. Staff was very helpful and friendly, they told us local places to visit, gave us adapters and we were able to store our luggage in the day of check out. Only downside is that there us no mini fridge or microwave so you’d have to be eating out practically everyday, as you can’t save food for the next day"

"Whenever I am in Amsterdam, this is my go-to place to stay. It's by the Amsterdam Zuid station and in front of several Metro lines. Takes about 20 minutes to get to the Canal Ring area by Metro. Highly recommend if you want to stay away from the touristy parts of Amsterdam. "

"Very impressed for such an affordable hotel, the Mate room felt high end and comfortable. The tech features such as the window facade was lovely! Easy self service feel and nice staff, will definitely look for Ruby hotels in future. "

"Hotel is in excellent location. It is near the Rijksmuseum, shopping, tramps, and many eateries nearby. Staff are friendly, courteous, and professional. On site restaurant MoMo is very good. Breakfast also good and cooked to order. Highly recommend to ones who visits Amsterdam."
