"What a wonderful stay we had at Donna's house! Everything was exactly as pictured on the listing - beautiful furnishings and the house was well stocked in every way. The views and sunsets from the backyard were amazing. Our family of 4 felt so comfortable with every need met. We purchased the resort access to make beach visits easy and also enjoyed a round of golf at the stunning Mauna Kea resort course. Donna's communication was excellent. We look forward to returning on our next trip back to the big island!"

"We really enjoyed our stay! The house is as described in a beautiful quiet community. Check in was simple! The house has everything a family of 6 needed for a week in paradise - it was clean and comfortable. We purchased the resort access and it gave us the best of both worlds! I recommend it!"

"We just got home from a trip to the Big Island and couldn't have been happier with this Villa. The location within the Mauna Kea resort was very convenient. It was a short walk up and down the walking path to the hotel and the beach (maybe 5-10 minutes). The Villa is just as beautiful as it is pictured in the listing. Everything was spotless when we got there and a very easy check in with the lockbox. Sarah was a wonderful host and most importantly very responsive to all messages. The kitchen has all you need to cook in if you wish. I highly recommend this Villa to anyone going to the Big Island and we hope to have the opportunity to go again. Thank you, Sarah, for everything."

"We had a bit of a rough start because there was a power shortage before we arrived so the AC was out in two of the rooms and we were exhausted from 12 hours of travel. Peter was responsive (late at night) and accommodating and half of our party stayed in a different unit with AC. Peter went above and beyond and thankfully our stay was seamless after that glitch. The property is pristine and beautiful. We enjoyed sunsets on the porch every night and the kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. I highly recommend club passes for your group. It was well worth the extra cost as we spent every single day working out at the new Mauna Kea gym, beach and adult pool.Our entire party even had a spa day. It was amazing! Five stars, I would not hesitate to rent. We will be back!"

"Lovely vintage villa at Mauna Kea. Among the many pros: easy walk to the hotel and beach (the new gym and adult pool are fantastic), cheery decor, nice layout, and gorgeous views from the lanai day and night. Two cons: the WiFi did not work during our stay (despite several messages to the property manager, it was never resolved); and an overpowering scent of Raid upon arrival. (I totally understand the bug challenge and the need to mitigate but a less toxic option or timing the spraying to allow time for off gassing would be better for guests). Overall, we loved our stay."
