"Me and husband stayed at this property for 3 nights. Wonderful experience. We enjoyed the beach even though it's public beach. The property offers beach chairs and towels. Room service excellent. But most what impressed me outstanding staff, very efficient, respectful and kind. Especially I want to say big thanks to Sarah and Oscar who served at restaurant. I think they are great assets to this property. "

"This is a large house in an ideal jungle location. There is no shortage of wildlife, we were visited everyday by troops of Howler monkeys, white faced monkeys and even some spider monkeys. "

"The Beachfront Tree House is in an amazing location! Close to amenities, Manzanillo Refuge, a perfect road for bird watching right across the street yet super quiet. The open kitchen was perfect. I was worried about bugs or monkeys but neither were a problem at all. Sloth, Green Macaws and Howler Monkeys all around in the trees. It was clean, comfortable and provided most of you needed for a pleasant stay. The only thing not provided were beach chairs. Mark is a communicative and friendly host. There is also a lovely kitty that lives between the beach houses which I loved having around. I would absolutely stay here again. The location cannot be beat. "

"We loved the house! It was just by the beach, just a small stroll down to the waves. And the jungle was all abound with lots of wild animals and plats. The house architecture with sleeping rooms upstairs and kitchen and living room downstairs is very smart. We did all appreciate the AC even if we kept it on a high temperature it dried out the air a bit. Some of the details are a bit rough but that was all fine. The kitchen was well equipped for all kinds of cooking. We would definitely recommend anyone staying here! "

"Excellent location for a sleepy beach vacation. Friendly caretakers on site. Friendly locals and a few cool little beach bars/restaurants within walking distance. We saw more wildlife in our week on the property than anywhere else nearby (sloths, howler/spider monkeys, toucans, aguitas, guans, iguanas, etc). A/C and hot water works perfectly. Hot/Cold water purifier on site. We had 8 people (4 adults/4 kids) at the house and it worked out well. It is not a modern high end home, but fits the bill for a beach bungalow with everything you need. New pool was amazing as well. Punta Uva is a super cool place. We heard a lot of negativity about the Carribean coast, but it exceeded expectations. One of the best beaches I've ever been on. If we ever come back to Costa Rica we will be back. "
