"Fantastic Host and staff. I was able to stay in two different locations here. The beach access was awesome if you’re looking for something away from the public beaches. Those can be crowded on the weekends. Across the street are an Italian and Argentinian restaurant, both very good. You can rent a bike or motorcycle as well at a shop about a 100m down the road. For me it was the perfect location that wasn’t in the crowded towns but not too remote."

"The Bungalows was fantastic. Check in was easy and they give a quick tour of the property when you arrive. Our room was great. Left a little to be desired as far as cleanliness of the room but no worse than any other hotel. About a 3 minute walk to the beach. Service was great. They have a restaurant on premises that was very good. We had 5 different meals there and each one was very good. Free breakfast was very good as well. Plenty of parking. Gated entrance. Really nice pool, games for kids in the main lodge along with a pool table, ping pong table, and foosball. Quiet and family friendly. We definitely recommend staying at The Bungalows."

"This property is very nice and the staff are very helpful and polite. The only issue I have is the layout or design of the rooms. The rooms look like individual bungalows but they are actually two back to back. As a result the walls are thin and sound between the two rooms carries. It be great if they just made them as separate bigger spaces but it is what it is. Breakfast is very good. The place is in the more quiet area of Puerto Viejo. There is a small town at the end of the road but not much there"

"My wife, two daughters and I rented Villas Cacao and Ginger for a week in October. We came to relax, explore, spot animals, eat good food and spend a lot of time together. This VRBO option is really amazing for what we had planned, as it was cozy, well supported by staff and located in a really lovely spot.The Caribbean coast line of Costa Rica has dozens of amazing towns, beaches, wildlife areas and nooks and crannies to uncover -- after our trip we really feel this location is ideally located.There are plenty of options for restaurants, food stores and whatever you might need. I would highly recommend this property, and they offer real flexibility based on the size of your group with the layout of their different Villas.(I would recommend that this property is best suited for travelers planning on having a rental car to explore the area -- but you can always still take a quick walk down to the local beach or jump in the pool if you don't want to drive!!)"

"What a charming place! The beach was stunning and just steps away. The location was wonderful, so close to downtown and yet far away enough to feel far from everything. People and food were wonderful. Definitely recommend this place if you want a rustic and glamping experience in a paradise like location. The beach water was perfect and waves were calm most days. I loved it and definitely recommend it to get a true feel of Costa Rica living. Pita vida for sure !"
