We loved our time at Aguas Claras. The rooms were lovely and we particularly enjoyed the outdoor bathroom. The beach club and restaurant pool were well maintained and beautiful. We even took some of the bikes on property out to the next beach over.

Beautiful property next to the beach

We extended our stay. The place is gorgeous, nice room, great service. Menu is a little limited (food and beverage) and check-in had a long waiting time, although, the gardens are a beautiful place to wait. Overall, a positive experience and I recommend it.

This place did not stand to it reputation. It is an ok property, but extremely expensive. I do not think it is worth the price. Food selection is limited and i did not enjoyed it much. The beach next to the hotel is ok, not great for the premium

The grounds and pool are great. Free breakfast and coffee were very good as well. Room were nice but not great. Out side shower and bathroom for each room that was connected. Not easy to get to the property, but it was worth the drive.

Wir waren 5 Nächte zu Gast im Aguas Claras. Das Hotel begeistert uns mit seiner sehr schönen, ursprünglichen Anlage in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Strand. Unser Zimmer (eine der Pavlova Suites) war klein und zweckmäßig, dafür mit Outdoor-Badezimmer (sehr cool). Alles sehr sauber! Der Pool ist ebenfalls sehr schön, allerdings auch etwas klein; ist das Hotel ausgebucht, wird es sehr eng und laut am Pool. Gleiches gilt für den kleinen, aber feinen Strand. Das gesamte Team im Hotel ist sehr gastfreundlich und bietet einen exzellenten Service. Sehr zu empfehlen!

We loved everything about Aguas Claras! We stayed in Cacao, and it was beautiful quiet and private. The staff were all amazing and helpful, eager to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. And the food was absolutely delicious! We ate most of our meals here for a week and had plenty of selection. We took advantage of so many of the amenities offered, pool side service, beach food/drink service, yoga, massage, kayak tour, and even rode bikes to town. All of these made our stay better than we could have hoped for!! Aguas Claras has some of the best service we have received, as the staff are very attentive and also love to point out the wildlife so you don’t miss a thing. I would highly recommend the massage, as it was one the best massages we’ve had, and the tour guides they recommend are friendly and knowledgeable! I highly recommend Aguas Claras, and we will be back!!

Ask for work being done in the property, they were doing maintenance so I couldn’t enjoy of the pool my second day because it was emptied the night before and at the beach there was no beach house service or chair/towels, strong smell of chemicals and construction sounds no relaxing at all. The service is amazing and people try to help with everything but since they were closing for works at the hotel some items on the menu weren’t available and all...wouldn’t have stayed if I knew about this and enjoyed a day pass instead

We had an amazing time at Aguas Claras. The hotel grounds are beautiful, and our room was dreamy as well. The ambiance was super chill and quiet, the food was really good and reasonably priced, and the amenities (including the free bikes) were lovely as well. We are definitely coming back to this hotel in the future!

This is a great boutique hotel. The staff is great and since it’s a small hotel, you feel like family. The grounds and room are updated very nicely. The beach is beautiful and quiet, only a short 2 minute walk from the hotel. The restaurant and bar is excellent. I didn’t want to eat anywhere else because the food was so good.
