"We loved the Villas Andes so much. We stayed in Section F in Villa Caiman with a Garden View. The location was perfect for us and the accommodations likewise. The villa was much bigger than expected and we loved having a full kitchen which we used. There is a Supermercado close by and we shopped for our stay. The way the Villas are situated when you are staying in them, you feel like nowhere else exists. You are in a jungle paradise. We loved the section we stayed in because the pool and outdoor food cooking set up was special and perfect. We used it. Our host Maru was so helpful and accommodating when we arrived. The Villas are actually located in the town of Cahuita... and we ate at a close restaurant just down the street from the Villas called El Pampa Asador on the beach which our host awesome Villas Andes host recommended that was fun and fantastic. We ate there twice. Just a little further south is an amazing beach town with lots of shopping and restaurants. The black sand beaches are beautiful and were not crowded while we were there. We also were close to a hiking and kayaking tour that we also did while we stayed. We will definitely stay again at the Villas Andes should we return to the Caribbean side of Costa Rica."

"We really enjoyed our stay overall! The views were absolutely beautiful, and the property was very well maintained. The staff was also super helpful, friendly, and welcoming, which made our experience even better. The main issue we had was with the room. Unfortunately, our room did not have AC, which made it uncomfortable at times, especially at night. I think having AC available would make a big difference and would definitely improve the overall guest experience. Aside from that, we really appreciated the beautiful property, the views, and the wonderful staff. With a few improvements to the rooms, this could be an even better place to stay!"

Beachfront Villas Puerto Viejo with AC & Pool!

"This is a beautiful property in an INCREDIBLE location. Walking distance to Puerto Viejo, ocean view. We saw a sloth across the street! My son saw a peccary in the yard! It is breathtaking. It is expensive but that’s what’s happening in Costa Rica for U.S. citizens and our failing currency. The host is kind/responsive. I would stay here again. There are some points I feel should be mentioned that aren’t in the listing. 1st off this rental is on a property that guests will be sharing with a family. There is a house on the property. The residents are kind and won’t bother you but I feel that knowledge should be available in case one was counting on seclusion. I also feel it should be noted that while the host is particular about keeping the gates closed (which I appreciate) there are massive holes in the fence. As I said above, my son saw a peccary— it ran into the yard and ran out. Luckily no people wandered in during our visit.For families hoping to make use of the bunkbed I’d note there’s no railing on the top bunk. So unless your kiddo sleeps without rolling it is not usable.I’ve seen mixed info on the pool that I’d like to clear up. Yes the pool is small. No it is not dirty. it is perfectly fine, your kids will love it. The yard is heavily covered in greenery and there’s no poolboy. Use the net. Also a warning that it can be loud at night, especially on weekend nights. Racing and revelry on the calle. Part of the experience! The air conditioner works great"
