"Absolutely love this hotel. This was my 2nd time staying here and it was perfect, A delicious breakfast, spacious covered balcony, steps to the beach. incredible birds and howler monkeys to wake up to… and walking distance along the beautiful beach to Puerto Viejo."

"Breakfast menu was great! Staff was excellent and very accommodating. There was lots of wildlife to see right around the pool area and from our porch at the room. Congo Monkeys, Green Parrots, Tucans, Giant Iguanas, and even a Sloth frequently visited the trees behind the bar. Especially in the mornings! Very entertaining! Bring your binoculars! Only issue was the cell service was very weak in that area and the WiFi barely worked in our room but it did by the pool"

"Love puerto viejo and neighboring beaches. The property has an amazing, verdant yard. The beach is right across the small road and you can hear it and see it at all times. Such a delight! Extra thankful for the ability to bring the dog. I came with a tica friend (her dog, her favorite beach area). Both of us would rent this place again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend! "

"The pool was very refreshing. The house was comfortable and we really enjoyed the outdoor living space except for the fumes from traffic on the road. Easy access to the beach. Nearby restaurants and an excellent small grocery were quite handy. Towns in the area offer lots of restaurants and shopping. The pura vida vibe was everywhere, people were friendly and we always felt safe. "

"Staff was great, casitas were cute, pool was nice. The rooms however are not very sound proof. Other noisy guests there in the pool or nearby rooms can be heard very well. You can hear TV and other noises in the next casita. "

"The hosts were so responsive throughout our planning and our stay. The house was fantastic, exactly as pictured and described. It was spacious and kitchen well stocked if you wanted to cook. So much outdoor seating to hang out, watch birds and howler monkeys. Easy to grab an uber to town or tuck tuck/uber home. "
