"All of the staff were so attentive and friendly. Our rooms were cleaned every day and they were so mindful of moving our items. We tried a different restaurant everyday and we loved it all! We took advantage of the activities everyday, so we had a GREAT time! We will definitely be back."

"We definitely enjoyed our stay! The room was nice and clean and always stayed cool. The beach area is small but always found a beach chair or chair by one of the infinity pools without having to get there super early! We didn’t go hungry and enjoyed the ice cream/sandwich shop for a quick snack! We also enjoyed the nightly entertainment…Karaoke, silent disco…etc! It was also a convenient location if we wanted to eat or hang out in town, it was a quick taxi ride! We think this is a place our teens would enjoy as well so we will definitely be back!"

"If you have food allergies they are amazing with accommodating. If you have Celiac Disease, this is the place to visit! I’ve been there 3 times and never have gotten sick. The staff at Catalonia Playa Maroma is like nowhere else! They are polite, kind, and go above and beyond to make your experience the best!"

"The property was nice. The bed was great The room was pretty plain with not many outlets , lotion would be nice and more towels and more garbage containers in the room. The activity by the pool was so loud , for those who would like to relax. Staff was helpful and polite."

"We had a wonderful 3-night stay to celebrate our wedding anniversary at El Dorado! Staff is above and beyond—every single staff member we encountered was so kind, caring, and helpful. The food at all the onsite restaurants was delicious, the bar is well-stocked and the bartenders great. We booked a room with one of the small private balcony plunge pools, and I highly recommend that. The beach is very well-maintained and gorgeous, and because it's a private beach there are no vendors—something I've always experienced at other resorts in Mexico but was very happy not to encounter at El Dorado. The included airport transfer worked seamlessly (perhaps with a large group the optional extra-charge private transfer would have been worth it, but for us as a couple the included van, which was shared with another couple going to a different resort on the way in, was perfectly fine and added very little additional time to the journey). Because we were only there for 3 nights, we opted not to do any additional excursions, special dinners, or massages, but just the relaxing time with a drink, laying at the beach or in the pool was perfection. Being off-season, the resort had fewer people, and it was never a problem to get the exact beach bed or chair you wanted. There is a tasteful attempt at a sales pitch for a memberships, but no pressure, and we were able to quickly communicate that we weren't interested. We've been to a number of all-inclusives, and this one is by far my favorite!"

"The service is truly excellent from start to finish. You get picked up and dropped off at the airport (CUN) and there are assigned staff always just a text away. Complimentary activities come with the reservation and the Palafitos exclusive restaurant is amazing. The views are obviously spectacular and having breakfast delivered to your own private bungalow overseeing the ocean is truly special. Will definitely be back!"
