"The Fives was incredible - if you are looking for a private more quiet stay right on the beach this is the place - all the staff were amazing, helpful, friendly and were genuinely interested in making our stay memorable… the rooms are exquisite and the food was top class - they could’ve had one more restaurant to choose from but the roof top restaurant is quite lovely - we had a great stay and we would go back - there was seaweed on the beach but each day it would be cleaned up and made to look...

"The hotel was a short drive from the airport. I loved the nature paths to the rooms, as well as the big pool with enough space for everyone. The resort never felt crowded. The food options were great. Despite being an all-inclusive, the drinks were actually good. Also very family friendly! "

"The staff is amazing , Val and Majoo are the best , don't lose them they made the trip top notch , went above and beyond excellent serv, got me a hair appointment that was amazing!!! The new GM was a great addition as well! I've stayed there Many times and have seen a lot of changes . He was very present and expressed genuine concern. This was a solo trip , I feel safe and well taken care of at the fives oceanfront "

"We had a wonderful time at this rustic Mexican property. Deborah with the property management company was a super resource to assist with various special arrangements and services including a wonderful catered meal at the house (Jorge Fatima were great!) and open to any other special requests. Morning coffee overlooking the sea was fantastic and Mr. Felix would check in each morning to clean the pool and take care of any debris or bring water or take out the kitchen trash. The jacuzzi is a jets only pool — not heated — and with the constant ocean breeze we scarcely noticed that the AC runs only in the bedrooms at night. The location is a bit off the beaten path and while you can walk to Puerto Morelos, we were glad to have rented a car as it would have been approx 30-40 minute walk along the beach to the square. Bring your portable speaker to bluetooth your music!"

"We had a fantastic 4 month stay here. The apartment was very well appointed and clean. Both Rodrigo, the property manager and Julio, the onsite point person were very responsive to our needs. The location is unrivaled. It has a commanding view of the coast complete with frigate birds and pelicans soaring overhead. It is steps from a beach that you have to yourself. Gorgeous crystal clear Caribbean waters. A short drive or bike ride to town. "
