"The staff were all incredibly kind, sweet, thoughtful, and funny! In a place where I expected to feel like nothing but a tourist, I was treated like family by the entire staff. I’m not a timeshare holder, I don’t make a ton of money and I couldn’t tip nearly as well as I wanted - and yet, everyone treated me as if I was a special guest. The room was beautiful. And my goodness, the PLUNGE POOL!! Absolutely worth the upgrade. The only mishap was on our last night, in the middle of the night, our AC started leaking. We think it was an issue with the room above us, but as we were checking out, it wasn’t something we thought affected our visit. The vendors on the beach are kind! They listen if you don’t want to buy their product (but the man who sells whittled sculptures from fishbone - SO incredible!!), the sea was so very warm, and ALL of the food at the restaurants was absolutely delectable!! El Patio was my favorite, with hands down the best guacamole, flank steak and shrimp tacos I’ve ever eaten. I only wish I had had more pesos with which to tip them. Sign up for the hibachi reservation at Himitsu! You will not be disappointed. 😍 The raccoons, iguanas, lizards and cats were such an adorable bonus. This resort deserves all the accolades. I just wish Mexico was a safer place to visit (and especially to live) - I feel so bad being a tourist while doing nothing to help such a beautiful nation. Thank you for everything ❤️"

"The resort is beautiful and the staff is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. We loved our swim up room! The only thing we would change is they don’t have reservations for dinner. One night we had to wait an hour for a table. The spa was closed for remodeling, but we were still able to get massages. The property is well maintained and they are constantly cleaning which was great. Would highly recommend!!"

"This house in Puerto Morelos is amazing. The inside is comfortable and had plenty of room for 9 adults 2 children and one infant. The pool is so well kept and very clean. You are 50 yards from the ocean. So all day you can swim in the ocean then hit the pool. The caretaker and his team are attentive to every need. They offer a chef who cooked three meals for us that were fantastic. The easy proximity to the city gave us lots to do. This house is a great rental."

"Indeed this was a very spacious unit with beautiful views of the Caribbean Sea from all five balconies. We drove a rental to the unit, and there was plenty of on-street parking nearby to use. On the beach side of town, most of the amenities like restaurants and shops are within a fifteen minute walk, either on the beach or by street. The host Ramón and staff were communicative, attentive, and discreet. It was a very private getaway spot for us to plan our adventures in town and across the Riviera Maya. We appreciated the dual washer-dryer, the large jugs of purified water, and high-performing heat pumps. Friendly neighbors and guests next door. Be prepared to climb four flights of stairs. Additional restaurants and shops in the Colonia side are about 5-10 minutes away by car, or about 2 mile walk or bicycle ride. Wifi was great, coming in at 100 Mbps download, 40 Mbps upload. TVs with streaming services in each room, if that matters to you. Although we only used glasses for drinking and some cookware for a little breakfast—we mostly ate out—it would also have been nice to buy ingredients at the Chedraui by Parque Los Fundadores and cook some Mexican food at “home.” Songbirds all day, especially during the morning, are a delight. We also saw Vaux’s swifts, pelicans, sea gulls, frigate birds, and possibly an albatross from the balconies. Check reports from Centro de Monitoreo Ambiental y Sargazo"
