"I would highly recommend staying here. The entire property and room are very clean! Well maintained flowers & trees that the birds love to hang out in so we get to enjoy watching them. Very good breakfast and the staff were all great!! Close enough to walk most places in La Fortuna. Definitely recommend Restaurante la Familigia for dinner (as recommended by the staff), excellent food and prices are unbelievable. We tried other places that were not great. "

"The biggest highlight of this hotel is definitely the location. It’s in a prime downtown spot, we were within walking distance to shops and restaurants, which was super convenient. It was also close to all the popular excursions, and Ubers were inexpensive (usually around $5–$10), which made getting around really easy. The breakfast each morning was convenient and a nice perk to have included. Was pretty good. That said, the hotel itself felt quite old and looked more dated than the pictures online. Unfortunately, we also had a very large cockroach in our apartment during our stay, which was definitely unpleasant. The receptionist wasn’t particularly warm or welcoming either. Overall, the property isn’t amazing aesthetically, but the price was reasonable for the location. If you’re prioritizing convenience and affordability over luxury, it could work, just manage expectations."

"This place was perfect! Great space and location! The owner was super communicative and gave great instructions. As other reviews say, due to the great location in the city, it can get loud at night althought this wasn't a problem for us, just to give a heads up.The only small issue was the bathroom. The sink wasn't cleaned properly, there was dust/dirt collected on it. The toilet also ran, we had to manually lift the lid and make sure the plug fell back properly to stop it. "
