"From the moment we arrived till we checked out this hotel delivered. Lovely welcome on arrival, spacious clean room. Comfortable bed, handy fridge, sofa. Delicious buffet breakfast. My preferred eggs were not in the buffet but asked and they were provided no problem. Evening meal was delicious too. Waiting staff very pleasant and helpful. Spa facilities were great. You pay £10 for use of the facilities. Well worth it. Loved the heated beds. Plenty treatments on offer too. Take £1 coin for the lockers. Hotel is set in lovely grounds and is very central for touring the area. Preston 30 mins by bus (no's 40&41) where you can catch a bus or train to many places. Not far from Blackpool, Liverpool, the Lakes, the Dales. We would highly recommend this hotel and would return if in the area."

"Hotel was fine, food was ok and room was fine. The carpark is really small compared to the size of the hotel and it was disappointing to be told that there was no way I could leave my car onsite. So I parked at the nearby public carpark and damaged my wheel when entering the carpark as it was not built for modern sized cars. Not the hotels fault but what was then even more frustrating was the following morning when it was clear that provisions had been made to accommodate later arrivals and in fact, much of the cars were staff cars parked overnight. Overall, hotel was fine, staff weren’t particularly helpful. "

"Room was clean and spacious. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Parking was easy and location perfect. Breakfast was good choice and fresh. Had a wonderful stay. "

"This hotel will be our new go-to stop when travelling between Scotland and England. Excellently situated off motorway. Quiet, good parking, lovely size, clean, comfortable rooms (new beds!) and the staff are wonderful. Breakfast was great too - self service buffet with all the usual and a sign that welcomes you to eat as much as you want and take away more. We arrived late and the two lads working were really nice. The ladies at breakfast were lovely too and Adam who was in charge was professional, kind and helpful. Would really recommend this hotel. 10/10"

"Nice boutique style hotel in a good part of town, close to train, pubs, university, etc. I’d say it’s a little overpriced for what it is though. A solid 4 star review."

"Parking was excellent plenty of spaces. There was no chef so wasn't able to get anything to eat not even offered a sandwich and lift was broken but gentleman on reception did offer to help with any luggage"
