The room update is very good. I had stayed here a few years ago before the renovation -- now it is much nicer. Thoughtful touches throughout: good coffee pods for the in-room coffee, and all day hot water for tea downstairs, and a small refrigerator in the room. Bed mattress could be firmer, but it was okay. I did not rent a car this time so it was convenient that the restaurant is downstairs. Rooms are very clean, with a pleasant, modern styling. . "The hotel is ok and the staff was nice. The parking isn't convenient and staff told me that I shouldn't have to pay in the kiosk after saying it was charged to the room but I still had to. Also there was a homeless person sleeping in the back entrance foyer when we got in. Lastly, despite letting them know that we were only staying 1 night instead of 2, they refused to charge only 1 night because they said I booked through a 3rd part (Expedia). We even paid an extra $45 to check in early at 6:30 AM but checked out the following morning at 5:30 AM and they charged me 2 nights plus the extra $45."
