The Romney - a Shepherds Hut by Bloom Stays that sleeps 4 guests in 1 bedroom

"Absolutely magical! We were blessed with the most amazing skies during our stay and had the most wonderful time. The Romney was a dream. A cosy and beautiful shepherds hut with everything included to make our visit one to remember. The beds were comfy and included gorgeous wool throw blankets, cushions and hot water bottle. There were fairy lights and the little kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a delicious cooked breakfast and bbq feast. The cookies, marshmallows, tea, coffee and milk were a lovely touch. The real magic was being sat outside around the fire pit cooking our dinner and watching the sunset. Equally, the outdoor bath was a real luxury combined with the sumptuous toiletries and bath robes. We came with our sons who are 7 and 2 and they both had the time of their lives. I loved that we had the field all to ourselves apart from the odd visiting chicken. The location is ideal for exploring the local area; we had a fantastic time wandering the cobbled streets of Rye and then collecting pebbles at Dungeness. Highly recommend and fully intend to return again in the future."

"A lovely, well renovated barn in a beautiful location. It was so quiet and peaceful and was well designed with exposed beams. It was nice to be able to sit out on the deck in the evening. A well equipped kitchen and even treats for our dog. The owner checked in on us shortly after arrival to make sure we'd settled in. We've already recommend it to friends and family."

"Beautiful location very peaceful, slept soundly very relaxing place to stay. On the website it states we would be getting a welcoming bottle of wine from local company, we got a bottle of Apple juice instead, we were looking forward to sitting outside with a glass of wine the Apple juice though very nice not quite the same. All other items listed as little extras were there yummy marsh mellows and delicious granola, tea and coffee. We paid for a breakfast the bacon, sausage and eggs were very good quality good value for money. The only other comments are the shower mat needs replacing as grubby, the large rainfall shower head needs a good descale as water going in all different directions, we had one towelling bath robe the other one was a worn fleece robe that had seen better days. There were some lovely fairy lights above the inside window sadly they didn’t work, the outside fence was weathered and needs propping up did add to the charm of the place. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend as very good value. The check in information though online was all very welcoming and efficient."

"Orchard Barn ist eine gemütliche und geschmackvoll eingerichtete Unterkunft für 2 Erwachsene. Bei gutem Wetter sitzt man draußen mit schönem Blick auf einen kleinen Obstgarten. Hilfreich wäre noch ein Sonnenschirm. Die Ausstattung der Barn ist prima, allerdings könnten in der Küche ein paar Tassen und Teller mehr von Vorteil sein. Ein großes Lob gebührt den Vermietern, Sally und Robin! Lieben Dank für die Freundlichkeit, Hilfe und Unterstützung in unserem Fall, und nicht zuletzt für die Köstlichkeiten im Kühlschrank bei der Ankunft! Gisela und Ulli"

"Ietwat klein maar gezellig huisje waar alles is wat je nodig hebt. Alleen een kast voor kleding is er niet maar met een ladekastje en de nachtkastjes kwamen we een heel eind. Een mooie omgeving. De plek zelf is rustig met vogeltjes om je heen en ook de eekhoorn laat zich geregeld zien. Erg vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw."

"Everything surpassed our expectations at this property but there was one little thing was annoying; it was a particularly cold May weekend and there was no way of heating the property.Everything was on an automatic timer/thermostat and some sort of back up heat would have been ideal."

"The sunsets directly in front of the cabins were stunning, with the landscape constantly changing throughout the evening. There was a wonderful sense of calm as the world slowly darkened and it was time to settle in for the night. The children loved being outdoors, relaxing, exploring nature and playing freely. Feeding the lambs was an added treat and a lovely seasonal experience. The location is perfect for enjoying the countryside, with beautiful walks on the doorstep, BBQs over open wood fires, and the beach less than ten minutes away for scenic coastal strolls. The huts petit yet perfectly formed, with thoughtful touches and attention to detail that made the stay feel comfortable and unique. We left feeling refreshed and would happily return."
