"The room was spotless, the shower was great, and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were exceptionally friendly and polite.
The only downside of our stay was that the beds were extremely firm to the point of being uncomfortable."

Holiday Inn Express Folkestone - Channel Tunnel by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"Early morning train to Calais so did not want to take a chance with the traffic/weather with our drive from Leicestershire. Hotel is conveniently placed about a 10 minute drive from the Channel Tunnel. Room was large/clean & quiet. Lots of restaurants within a 10 minute drive; we ate at a small Thai which was really good.
Breakfast was good and quick. Overall have paid much more for less."
"These pods were super cute and very clean. The heating in it was fantastic and kept us warm on a very cold and wet night. We were provided with the and coffee making facilities and a bag of marshmallows to toast by the fire. Kids really enjoyed it. We could also hear and sometimes see the lions nearby. "
"Great treehouse with buggy.
Up early to go around the park with the buggy.
Loved the clubhouse bar, toasting marshmallows over the fire.
We would return, loved the animals, grounds & restaurants too! "
"The cottage was a very small quaint one but the size only added to the comfortable atmosphere, everything needed was provided and in good clean condition. A lovely relaxing 8 nights."
"Perfect place to stop over prior to ferry or Chunnel crossing. Not too far to walk into town although it’s uphill all the way back. Friendly staff and very welcoming."
