"The location of the cabin was a bit tricky to find, but once I found it, the experience was great. It's very private and close to nature, the cabin and surroundings were as clean as a nature retreat can get. Firewood for both the wooden stove inside and the fireplace outside was provided, which was amazing for someone who's not used to being in nature. As it was still cold, even freezing, when I was there, there were barely any bugs around!I'd have loved the convenience of a washroom in the cabin, but the shared one was close and we'll maintained. The warm water was nice after a cold night!The host was easy to communicate with and was very helpful with everything that came up during my stay.The only thing that was a bit scary was coming down from the loft-like upstairs bedroom, coordinating how to get down from there was complicated as the stairs are very steep.Thanks for everything, and if I want to book a cabin again, I'll definitely book this one!"

"Room was clean and very nice compared to the property. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parked with ease. Only complaint is that there was no bottled water in the room and the vending machine was sold out of water and anything without carbonation. Other than that the stay was great."

"This cottage is very nicely decorated and the lake view is perfectThey do not offer any toiletries in the bathrooms or dish towels or foil or saran wrap in the kitchen so bring your own We did enjoy the hot tub but its very dated The bbq was very old but useable and was told it was going to be replacedWe had a problem with the wifi when we first got there but the host came right over and got it working The host is very available and will get back to you quicklyThe living room is small , it only has 1 love seat and 2 small chairs and a very nice fireplaceWe went in March so we did not use the poolOverall is was nice"

"The Host was excellent, as were the accommodations ONCE INSIDE!! This is not a place for the elderly or handicapped. To enter the property, you have to walk over stones to reach two flights of outdoor wooden stairs. The Host did offer to move us to a ground-floor unit, but it was further away from the downtown area. "
