"It’s a complaint I often repeat. When you arrive, you get hit with some fairly excessive resort fees. That should not happen. Expedia should list full price and not allow this unexpected high expense."

"What a nice surprise with this hotel, as it is right on the beach, where you can lie down to lounge to your left on the beach or go right to snorkel. The best part of this hotel is that it is quiet and relaxing and not heaving with people. The rooms are huge, and the walk-in shower is huge. I loved the peaceful garden room on the first floor. As I walked around other hotels, they were heaving with yelling kids and so many people; this was just such a genuinely relaxing hotel, and everything was easy to get to. At this hotel, you can walk to other restaurants, beaches, and coffee shops. I do recommend Red Salt as it is a great choice for dinner. However, nothing can walk over and get yourself a Puka Dog and watch the sea turtles on the beach. This is also a great launching point for summer boat trips along the Napali Coast and for hiking Waima Canyon."

"Very nice we enjoyed our stay. The staff was great and we were able to check in early. We did not anticipate an early arrival. The location was great. The beach area was nice but with two small grand children we found walking over to the Marriott beach a little more kid friendly. We also were able to walk over to the beach wear the Turtles come up for the night and leave around sunrise a nice treat. The Poipu Beach Athletic Club located across the street that was included with the rental very nice, the grandkids loved the pool area with the slide. We loved using the gym. The shopping center across the street was great and has several dining options."
