"We’re used to Grand Velas and their top sites. But this Grand Hyatt is right there as a top resort. The pools are the best we’ve seen. No issues. Seeing the parrots each day was a plus. And the on site restaurants were very good too. Our only advice. If you get an Uber to the resort, keep your driver’s cell number and schedule your rides and pay them cash. Otherwise getting rides to and from the resort can be very difficult. We were almost stranded in Lihue one time."

"We had a lovely stay at this property. The grounds are beautiful with lots of tropical plants and flowers. The surf lesson and cafe were good. The beach is beautiful and very close to other beaches with good snorkeling and daily turtle-viewing on the beach - we even saw several adorable monk seals resting on the nearby (walking distance) beaches. The chaise loungers on the lawn were very pleasant. We didn’t use the pool or gym, but they are across the street next to a convenient small shopping center."

"We were pleasantly surprised by these accommodations. Greatly enjoyed being able to see the sunset. And even though we were not directly on the beach, it was a short walk. Also, there’s restaurants and shops around the area there. The full kitchen with all the amenities was also very much appreciated. We had no issues with this location. We very much enjoyed our visit."

"This unit was incredible. It has fantastic ocean views, is very clean and nicely furnished. It had everything we needed for our stay and more. Both my husband and I slept well and felt that the mattress was very comfortable. The check in and check out process were easy and quick with an onsite management company. Unit owner Deena was very communicative and nice to work with. She texted us on our first day to make sure we had gotten settled. When she learned that the beach umbrella provided was not in working order, she had a replacement delivered to the unit the next day! We will definitely look to stay here again. Thank you Deena!"

"Excellent location and amenities for a family with 2 young kids, who loved the sandy beach, pool, and grassy area- all of which were right outside our door or within a 5 minute walk!The condo was incredibly cool and felt so relaxing and comfortable after a hot day in the sun (it had an AC unit in the main area and bedroom). We had a wonderful trip and would recommend this unit and complex- especially those with young kids!I will mention that it seemed that previous visitors have been rough with the chairs/umbrella… while they worked it, broken straps made it a bit difficult to manage carrying with our two young kids. But thankful to have them!"
