Seednest BBQ Cozy Family house

Seednest BBQ Cozy Family house

10/10 Excellent
"A great multi-zone house with ample room for our family group of 7 (could have had a couple more). Shopping facilities were a short 5-minute drive from the house, the neighbourhood was quiet, and the beds were firm and comfy. The hosts were great with communication; the heater was on to greet us, and they made sure we could secure our bike as soon as we arrived. We couldn't have asked for more. This house is pet-friendly, but there was no sign or smell of pets and it was clean. We did have kids though and were happy to have a secure fenced rear yard.It was a great base for our family to explore Ballarat."

Ballarat Central - Waller House - Netflix & Wifi

Ballarat Central - Waller House - Netflix & Wifi

8/10 Good
"Overall the property was a good base for a few days in Ballarat. The location, ease of booking, communication in advance, and arrival instructions were all very good. On arrival, the house was very cold (we did stay in July), though the reverse cycle heater/air conditioning in the lounge and the gas heater in the kitchen did heat the communal areas well and fairly quickly. The lounge was comfortable, and the TV good. The bedrooms were cold - though electric blankets were available on all beds, and the bedding was good quality with plenty of blankets. Access to a laundry including washer/dryer was great, especially when traveling with young children.Although the listing does say 'Waller House is fully renovated with a relaxing feel", it seems that it is not fully renovated. However, the listing does further refer to the "newly renovated kitchen/dining area", which is correct. The bathroom is in a style of the past - though whilst the listing refers to it as retro, as the fixtures in the bathroom appear to be original, it could be questioned whether vintage is more appropriate, or - some may feel - in need of renovation. That, though is a matter of personal taste. Cleanliness through much of the house was very good - however some elements, particularly in the kitchen had not been cleaned thoroughly, including the oven, stove top and fridge, and the fridge contained out of date milk."
