Cozy mountain cabin bordering national forest

"We had a great time. The cabin was perfect for our needs. It was close to everything we wanted to do. The cabin is attached to the Pisgah National forest. We were able to hike right behind the cabin and drive up the mountain to the visitor center. We enjoyed antique shops, used bookstores, blueberry picking, apple picking, and trout fishing. We also visited the 1st Forestry School (Cradle of Forestry) museum since my husband got his degree in Forestry. The weather was perfect. I would love to come back in the fall to enjoy the beauty of it all. We were hoping to see the bears that were in the area, but no luck."

"Stoneybrook was a wonderful rendezvous location for our group of 5 from 3 different states. We enjoyed the covered pavilion, especially when it was rainy. Cooking together in the well-stocked kitchen was a pleasure.Everything was very clean and comfortable.Elmer was a great host and easy to communicate with."

"The property was perfect! Fully stocked with everything you need. The resort amenities and tavern are top notch. The views from the house are amazing. Plenty of space for everyone with two master bedrooms. Loved the ability to do laundry after hikes and waterfalls. The s’mores were a hit with the kids. "Beautiful property! Jorge is an excellent communicator. We really enjoyed the downstairs area where we could play pool and games by the fireplace with our family for Christmas. I’d say the only concern we had was that the water was on a well and left a rust smell, otherwise the home was well stocked with supplies and easy to access."

"We stayed a week at Cold Mountain Reflections over Christmas. This was a great house for me, my kids and some friends to get together and enjoy time together. The house had anything we could possible need. The layout was great and the hot tub was very relaxing. The owner was very responsive to requests and reached out proactively several times to see how things were going. I've rented vacation property numerous times (and also owned a vacation rental property for many years) so I have a good basis to compare this stay and also understand the ownership of such a property. I highly recommend Cold Mountain Reflections to anyone looking for a relaxing, luxury stay in the Canton area. The amenities were great and you really can't beat the location for easy access to anything from Cherokee to Asheville."
