"Well kept heritage guest house. Our room was relatively large and furnished in heritage style. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. There were extra blankets, necessary for the cold night. Limited hot water. Breakfast was simple, but adequate and served in the large dining room. There was a separate communal sitting room and a gym and library. Plenty of parking."

"Just passing through town. Motel was easy to find. A complimentary upgrade was appreciated. Staff very friendly and helpful."

"Helpful Staff. Property showing age with peeling paint etc. Booked 2 bedroom unit which was adequate, but unfortunately up 2 flights of steep stairs and facing on to busy Sharp Street, so noisy. Beds were clean and crisp, but quite hard on older bones."

It is comfortable enough but we find it difficult to understand that it has no coat hangers in the hanging area and no shower cap provided."
