I stayed at Indigo 8 nights and Palmyra 9 nights. Palmyra is a 3 star and was $40/night, Indigo is a 5 star and was $90/night including breakfast and a room not facing the loud street. It wasn’t worth double the price. The breakfast at Indigo is spectacular. You should try to spend hours there getting your money’s worth. The bed was great, it was a Sealy Posturepedic mattress. AC didn’t feel strong enough on some days and both me and my wife noticed some congestion/sore throats on a couple days along with a moldy AC smell. Maybe the hvac hasn’t been cleaned yet this year but I wanted better from a 5 star. Shower also, though beautiful, had water issues. You’d select your desired temperature of water, then the shower would fluctuate itself between hot and cold, just for little blips of too hot or too cold. Valve problem maybe or hotel water system, it’s not getting fixed during my visit so I didn’t report it. Good size tv, not enough English channels. A lot channels dubbed over in Thai so useless for foreigners. Overall a good hotel though and they were all helpful and nice employees.
