The property was unique. The "theme" was allot like Steampunk meets Hipster. The staff was great for the most part. The food was very good, epically the breakfast. The property is not perfect, however the stay was comfortable for what it was. My only real complaint is that I wish they had refrigerators and coffee machines in the rooms, it would have made a big difference. Otherwise, if you like different, and want an experience, it is a good place to go.

My family and I stayed while attending a graduation. We wanted to be within walking distance of university and local transportation. The MOXY checked both boxes. We arrived around 9:00 in the evening and checked in at the bar. It was very loud, energetic, and busy. The decor is fun and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. The girl checking us in was as enthusiastic as a wet paper towel. She glared at every child in her vicinity with daggers. I get that not everyone likes kids, but wow. After check in, I was happy to discover we were far from the lobby. You don’t want to be on the first floor near it otherwise you’re likely to be kept awake by the music. The rooms are funky, modern, industrial style. There were some mildew issues in the shower. Other than that the rooms were mostly clean. Housekeeping was absolutely lovely! The pool area is fun with lounging chairs, beds, and tables. They also have inflatable loungers for the pool. There are many games and activities indoors as well. I liked the fact that you could rent bikes from the hotel! Transit and restaurants are close. Definitely try the coffee at Honey 2 a Bee and donuts across the street at Voodoo. My daughter left her stuffy, but the young man at the desk was able to locate it and turn it over to a friend for safe return. Thank you! Overall, I would stay again if it was an adults only trip. If I needed to come for another formal event at the university, I would stay closer to the uni.

Elevator was done the whole time I was there which made it difficult to carry luggage up and down 4 floors. Parking lot is destroyed and needs to be redone. the ceiling in my room had water stains everywhere. The pool only had 1 lawn chair. There was only one staff member who was helpful and nice. Everyone else ignored me.

It was a very cool relaxed vibe. Fairly clean. Staff was great. The “stash” room had very little stocked. There was a car that the alarm went off 5 times in the middle of the night. Not ideal & just bad luck but still not ideal.

The staff was nice. The rooms didn't have normal amenities like a coffee maker, fridge, closet, or cups. The pool was very dirty, one elevator worked sometimes, and a lot of noise off the road.

Great stay but room was pretty dirty, didnt complain because price was good and we didnt expect 5 stars. Floor had sticky stuff on it, bathroom needed to be wiped down and there was a lot of dust in spots. Bed was super comfy. Staff very nice. Overall we were happy with two day stay but would have asked for a.cleaning if it was a longer stay.

I enjoyed the vibe of this property and rooms. Staff was always friendly and helpful. Food and drinks at the bar were delicious. The only disappointment was the pool area. Only four lounge chairs available and two were broken. Cabanas were cute, but cushions looked dirty. Pool water was cloudy and dead bugs floating in the pool.

The beds were comfy and the pool was great! The location was convenient to several kid-friendly activities as well as ASU. But there was a lack of attention to detail regarding cleanliness. The shower fixtures had soap scum on them, trash bins were without liners and dirty-looking, elevator floor un-vacuumed, and outdoor breakfast tables were dirty. Overall the building was notably worn. Would prefer something a step above next time.

I wish I’d had the time to take advantage of more of the amenities! Everything I did experience was great, and I loved the room and property. Everything was super clean and I really enjoyed how the “simple” room design worked. It felt so homey compared to most hotels, so it was super easy to settle in immediately. Staff was super attentive and helpful, and checking in/out was a breeze.

Moxy had a cool vibe. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We got 2 free drink vouchers at checkin. The room was clean and comfortable enough. There was a CVS next door which was very convenient. The minimalist approach was okay except our room was on the opposite side of the hotel from the Stash, a centralized room with water, coffee, irons and extra towels/toiletries. Also the Marriott tv connect did not work so we had limited tv options. It was a known issue according to front desk but Marriott has not been able to resolve it.

Cute and unique! Love how different it is from a regular hotel. Fun games in the lobby to play with a bar. Staff was very nice but it was super busy during my stay so the wait for things was a little longer. Disliked not being able to conveniently get ice on the same floor, instead had to go all the way down to the front desk area and get a “bag of Ice” from the fridge. But overall very nice, unique and vibrant!
