Lost opportunity to provide five star service.
I booked this hotel at the last minute upon my arrival into the Phnom Penh international airport. The price I paid was a fair price if everything was perfect. Unfortunately, everything wasn’t perfect. That’s probably because they haven’t been using the rooms that much due to the pandemic. The other issue that I had with the hotel room itself was the hot water for the bath lasted about a minute or two and then it cooled down quickly to where I couldn’t really take a very hot bath. I’m not sure if each room has an individual water heater, but something wasn’t quite right. The bed in the room was absolutely fantastic. As for breakfast in the morning, there was some confusion as to the prices. The hotel had three picture signs in the breakfast area and the breakfast that I wanted to pay for was $4.90 in the picture. The waitress wasn’t familiar with that particular price or breakfast. She told me that the normal breakfast was $12. I wasn’t interested in a big breakfast and asked her about the $4.90 price on the picture and she had to call her boss. The boss spoke to me and said you want the $4.90 breakfast? I said yes, and I handed the phone back over to the waitress and the waitress handed me a big menu. The problem was that the big menu didn’t have the breakfast for 499. It didn’t have any breakfast in there. I got frustrated, and ended up just walking out of the restaurant. I asked the front desk clerk about the giant ibis transport companies location and they were of no help

A Gem in the area
It’s a gem in the area. It looks like the hotel was built or renovated recently. Breakfast buffet was very good. Shower room had a problem with a drain but did not flood so I didn’t call the front desk. Otherwise I couldn’t have found a better one.

It was nice to have access to the good size gym with many equipment and large swimming pool. Buffet breakfast was great with pho and more. Front desk staffs were always try to help with requests.

The tap water in my wash basin had the hot and cold side wrongly installed opposite way. I burnt my finger under the extremely hot water thinking it was the cold water side. This is a safety hazard. Hotel should look into fixing this issue. The compressor of sort in the ceiling above the bath tub keeps emitting screeching sound. It is pretty annoying if you can't do anything about it and you try to have a relaxing shower and sleep in the room.

From the pictures online everything looked well and good. We got there and service level was just poor. It’s not a four star and I’m not sure how these other reviews say all these great things. Staff are not able to speak English, there are no clear numbers in the room to contact reception. It was just shambles.

There’s few dirty remains on the bed sheet looks like from last guest which indicates the cleaning is not properly performed, but it was a clean room for overall room condition.

This is a problem that I have seen everywhere. When you fill 10% of the bathtub there water gets cold. and it is annoying to wait till it gets hot again. and by the time it does, it is already late and the water in the bath gets cold

Great clean hotel. Very spotless. Is a little away from activities, but you can catch a tuk tuk out front and go where needed at a reasonable price. Just check price before going, and always barter down. Great breakfast provided. Pool , gym etc.

Disappointing - a place just for tour groups
I found this hotel to be disappointing. It is almost impossible to find, even for the local Cambodian officials with us - and seems to just cater for Chinese tour groups. The corridors are full of loud-talking guests, and the fact that the hotel has no carpet means that the hallway is like a giant echoing cave, which amplifies the guest noise. What is worse is the doors have auto closers which slam the door shut (once it even closed behind me, locking me out), which means the evening is full of door slamming. The hotel also didn't have a restuarant on several nights (only a small outdoor cafe was open), maybe because tour groups weren't there that day (not great given there are no local eating alternatives around being in the mifddle of nowhere). The hotel also penalises guests who happen as humans to misplace their 10c plastic entry cards $5 for the pleasure of a new room key.

All good - except location
All very good. Location is a bit remote, and construction next door led to some noise. Plumbing is not perfect. Bathroom smelled bad due to plumbing issues. Otherwise the place was extremely good. Would visit again.

New hotel and clean.
New and clean but has lots of growing pains. Helpful staff but inexperienced. One person said it was his first day on the job. Hotel driver didn'the know his way through town. The first room we were in was at the end of the hall, so far away from the WiFi spot that we couldn't connect to the Internet. They did move us the next day to a room that had good WiFi signal. We still had to wait almost two hours for the replacement room to be ready even after they said they would move us. The room's mini safe was not bolted down, that's the first for me. The hotel was so far from the city center, it took us about an hour to get anywhere. Price was reasonable. Even then, I would not stay there if I was a tourist.

Solid Stay
Hotel has great facilities. Large pool and well equipped gym. Also has badminton, tennis and table tennis for those that prefer racquet sports. Room is solid - good bed. Lots of TV channels. Safe, Small fridge/minibar. Wifi worked well. Breakfast buffet was usually very good - you can get soup and eggs made to order. Staff is generally pleasant and helpful.

Highly rated and definitely value for money but need to travel quite abit to get to town (USD7 per one way trip using Exnet apps). Great recreation facility for swimming, gym, sauna, etc Good place to relax after hard day. Not so good food around area as must go out to main streets (about 15-25 mins by car)

Nice swimming pool and gym. Check in was pretty quick. Room is comfortable - good bed - and its quiet at night. TV has lots of channels - Wi-Fi worked well. There is a safe in the room. Breakfast was just ok. Eggs but no Ham (all three days)? They do offer Khmer soup which is nice and there is a nice buffet some days - but other days its a set menu and frankly it takes a long time if more than a few people are there. Staff are generally pleasant. The biggest issue is transportation especially at night. There are tuk-tuks outside the hotel during the day but at about 6:00 they seem to head home. If you want to go into the city its a $5 ride each way (about 20 minutes depending on traffic). If flying into the airport I'd definitely print out directions on google and bring the hotel phone # as few drivers know the hotel (its recently opened). Have a small outdoor restaurant near the pool - limited menu - but the Khmer food there is good and reasonably priced for a hotel.

Arrived at 11:30pm and was checked in quickly. Room is solid. Excellent bed and nice bathroom. AC, Safe, small closet, desk and end tables. Everything worked. TV has a lot of channels. Breakfast was pretty good. Two days had a buffet and one day it was a fixed menu choice. Liked the buffet as is included eggs made to order. The fixed menu took a long time and the food was just ok. The facilities are truly excellent. Large lap pool (and yes I mean you can swim actual laps) and a smaller pool, good gym with machines and free weights. The pool and gym are easily in the top 1% of all hotels. If you like to get your exercise you will be very happy. Ok, now the one problem area. The hotel is FAR and I mean FAR from transportation. I assume they will get this sorted out over time. They offer a shuttle three times a day to the Central Market - what probably needs to happen is that the shuttle hourly or every 30 minutes swing you over to the main street that the Sen Sok hospital is on (its a 20 minute walk and during the day its a very hot walk!) - at least there you can eat or easily get a tuk-tuk or motorbike. Every evening we went out to dinner and each evening there was no available transportation. Twice in the morning same problem. One evening we asked them to call and waited 20 minutes for a tuk-tuk - the other evening we simply walked. Note this is a totally new hotel - just opened.
