The area provides comfortable walking experiences with minimal tourist crowds. Auto-rickshaws and cycle-rickshaws make getting to Varanasi's famous riverside attractions like Assi Ghat convenient and straightforward.

Mahmoorganj

Mahmoorganj bustles with energy as local vendors display colourful textiles, electronics, and handicrafts along narrow streets. The aroma of street food mingles with incense from nearby temples, creating an authentic Varanasi experience. Bargaining is expected in this budget-friendly shopping paradise. Trilok Residency

Trilok Residency

10/10 Excellent
"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Trilok Residency. The standout feature of this property is definitely the incredible hospitality and helpful management. Navigating the crowded Varanasi streets can be overwhelming, but the staff went completely out of their way to help. They provided an amazing porter service and even dropped me off on a bike through the damn busy streets to ensure I made it easily. On top of that, they arranged highly reliable and genuine cabs for my airport pickups and drops, as well as a trip to Prayagraj. While the location itself in the narrow lanes can be a bit challenging to navigate, the staff's unmatched helpfulness and care completely make up for it. I highly recommend staying here if you want peace of mind during your Kashi trip!"

When is the best time to go to Varanasi?
The best time to go to Varanasi is typically between October and March.During these months, the weather is most pleasant, with cooler temperatures and less humidity, making it ideal for sightseeing and exploring the city's many ghats along the Ganges River. The average daytime temperatures hover around 20-25°C, providing comfortable conditions for walking tours and boat rides. This period also largely avoids the monsoon season, which runs from July to September and can bring heavy rainfall and increased river levels.Couples looking for a comfortable and culturally rich experience will find these months particularly appealing. The cooler weather allows for extended exploration of the narrow lanes, ancient temples, and vibrant markets without the discomfort of intense heat. You'll also find it easier to attend the evening Ganga Aarti ceremony, a spectacular spiritual ritual held daily at Dashashwamedh Ghat.Solo travellers seeking a deeper connection with the city's spiritual side will also appreciate this window. The comfortable climate makes it easier to spend time by the river, observe local life, and participate in yoga or meditation sessions, which are widely available.
