"This is a very comfortable, well located hotel but they are short staffed. We had to wait with a few others to check in and wait to check our as there was no one on reception. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast was good."

"We had a lovely Bank holiday stay at The New Inn in Winchelsea. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the food was amazing. I had the biggest pie I've ever seen! The bread at breakfast is gorgeous. Room had little niggles like the heaters were not working, I couldn't get the blinds down and there was a lovely swinging sign outside the room creaking. Other than those little issues we have a great time....Lovely cosy vibe. We highly recommend."

"We’ve just returned from having a short break at …. The house was perfect. It was extremely roomy, comfy and immaculately kept and the setting was so peaceful and relaxing It’s always good to find a place to stay that you’d happily return to on another occasion. We had a lovely walk around the farm and through a private woods into ….Where we enjoyed a delicious lunch at the Royal …. Later we spent some time on …. Pebble Beach which was very clean and peaceful and as the tide went out the sand emerged. Lots of fun was had looking for shells and other …. We enjoyed a visit to Rye -a picturesque and historical town. The people we met there were very helpful and friendly So all in all a great break in a wonderful setting so thank you Jan and … for making us feel so welcome"

"We stayed just for 1 night. The room is a little cosy but very clean and comfortable. Shower was great but as a warning, whilst the room was marked as mobility friendly it's not wheelchair friendly. There is a step up into room and no room to manoeuvre a wheelchair into bathroom I would say. Breakfast was good quality and a good selection."

"The house was clean and well equipped. All the rooms were a great size allowing our party ( including teenagers) plenty of space for family or alone time and was well furnished. As we were in the middle of a heatwave the host had also provided desk fans which was greatly appreciated.The location was great, a few minutes and you were on the beach.Parking was easy for our two large cars on the drive, we could have fitted at least another two. The garden was also a great size with a shed where we could store any beach items.The host was very responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay which really helped.Overall we were very happy with the property and our stay there."
